Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 19th October, 2017

Bugger … !

If you’ll excuse the phrase.

I’ve had another arm fall of my spectacles!

Yes, I know what you’re going to say, you’re going to say I should’ve gone to Specsavers.

I know.

It’s where I went to get the blessed things fixed, the last time they broke!

~≈Î≈~

Which, of course, didn’t stop me watching the last few episodes of House of Cards fifth season, last night.

Nor did it stop me treating myself to song music by Karlheinz Stockhausen.

Which was a very interesting first: for me, anyway.

Interesting: especially if, like me, you grew up on the theme tune to Dr Who

And fascinating to hear …

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga* and Debbi† putting in their answers: with Olga scoring five out of five, and Debbi on four.

And a tune …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser …

Enjoy your day!

*        I’m going to have to keep my eyes open for it, Olga!   Actually, talking of wartime history?   My mum and her brother headed for Tyne Cot, recently: the Commonwealth war graves in Belgium.   My great-father’s buried there.   Well … commemorated.   He’s one of the missing …

†        You have to love retro tech, some times, Debbi!   And this from the man who had one of the original ZX Spectrums.   (They’re probably worth a fortune on the collectors market!)

It must have been very emotional for them. I think you might need new glasses or new opticians!

Please double check your dates and then I may think of answering your quiz when there is only 5 questions.

There are 2 date error in this set of Questions. King John died in 1216 not 1219.

The American cricketer was born on 19 Oct 1873 and died 17 Oct 1965.
