Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 27th April, 2018

27th April, 2018.

Yep …

It’s official: Tetris on a tablet is … distracting!

Especially when you’re trying to beat someone else score!

It’s …

Well …

~≈§≈~

On other fronts … ?

It seems Rick Dickinson has died in the US: whilst having cancer treatment.

That’s sad: for those of us of a certain age.

Dickinson’s the man that designed the ZX80ZX81, and ZX Spectrum.

As such?

He’s part of the reason Britain spawned a generation of coders.

He’ll be missed.

~≈§≈~

That’s before we get to another piece of news.

President Trump is due to visit rhe UK in July of this year.

Can I take this chance to encourage chuck eggs at the silly idiot?

Or, at least, rotten tomatoes.

I’d rather he didn’t turn up, but if he MUST, I’d rather we dropped a hint … !

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga* and Debbi† putting in their answers: with both scoring ten out of ten.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

And a song …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

*        There’s hoping that goes with out a hitch, Olga.   Deliveries, hey … ?

†        I hope pointing the Accessibility options at you comes in useful, Debbi.   They’re still present in High Sierra.

Q5) The Big Time: Pop Singer
Well, so much for hoping! They phoned in the afternoon to tell me they would get here on Monday morning. That is after we had got rid of the table and my mother's bed. It seems they told me when they were leaving rather than when they'd get here. Idiots.
And today they were doing some repairs to my mother's apartment building and they managed to get the electricity cut off for quite a few hours. I hope I've got here in time...
