You missed a great computer aniversery.

To-day in 1969 IBM released CICS. It was the first transaction processing system in the world. I wrote programs connecting to it in IBM machine code and COBOL.

It was an old friend of mine.

Before my time and i have been in the game a long time, of course i have heard of CICS infact its still going i beleive or was 6 years ago when i worked for Honda.
