Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 20th January 2026.

20th January, 2026.

For me, right now … ?

It’s getting towards pay day: on Friday.

Which means?

That right now, I’m feeling skint, blue … and mildly frustrated.

Not having cash will do that do a body, won’t it?

~≈£≈~

Let’s move on.

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga*, Mum† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with Olga and Debbi scoring five out of five, and Mum on four.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video.

Colin Clive, 20 January 1900 – 25 June 1937.
And a song by Farhad Mehrad …

The next ten question set is on 4th February: it’s about the Aldous Huxley novel, Brave New World.

Your comments, and today’s answers, will be published in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

*        Oh, it’s a digital thermometer, Olga?   I was worried, there!
I can imagine Rampton, long term, could be hard on the staff.   Emotionally, as well as practically.   (I’d imagine low or medium security would have issues, as well: just not as many as the high security places.)

Hello, Mum!   (It was Yemen, Mum, not Jordan!)

        Isn’t it just, Debbi?
Really … ?   There could be arguments, there, Debbi.   I believe many fans object to Dr Who — as an example — having split seasons: many fans felt it was catering to the US market’s advertising schedules.   And — initially, at least — objected to new streamers having the show: as there was talk a new streaming partner would want exclusive UK streaming rights.   No more Dr Who on the iPlayer, in other words.   Quite what’s happening, I don’t know.
So original content on YouTube?   Hmmm … that could cause problems …
