27th January, 2026: Is Len In … ?
Yes: I know what you’re thinking …
You’re looking at today’s picture — complete with a well known Russian leader — then staring at the date at the top of the page.
And thinking “That’s a bad pun.”
What can I tell you … ?
Bar “There’s a better one, over here”?
~≈⁉️≈~
Hmmm …
I’ve been suspended from Twitter/X, again.
Although it MAY be for a shorter time than recently.
I don’t know.
But if you’re on the service, and CAN see me?
Can you let me know?
I should be under Following, if at all.
At any rate … that’s not what I was going to mention.
I was going to tell you that Facebook announced they were going to add an ad-free subscription service, last year.
Well, yesterday, I logged into FB on my desktop … and got the message about it …
I went for the free option.
That’s more affordable.
Even though, at £2·99p, it’s cheaper than Twitter’s basic offering …
Let’s move on.
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Mum* and Debbi† putting in their answers: with Debbi scoring five out of five, and Mum on four.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

And an Elmore James tune …
The next ten question set is on 4th February: it’s about the Aldous Huxley novel, Brave New World.
Your comments, and today’s answers, will be published in tomorrow’s Teaser.
AI is avoided when writing these questions.
Answers are as accurate as possible: at the time of writing.
Decisions about scores are final.
Thank you for coming: have a good day.
* Hello, Mum! (Vadim was married to Brigitte Bardot, Mum, not Jane Fonda — at least when he made And God Created Woman. Vadim and Fonda were married when she filmed Barbarella.)
‡ X is STILL playing silly buggers, Debbi: and I MAY have to pay for Premium, to talk to a human! Let me know if I show up!

Great movie! Especially the original.
