I was going to tell you that Facebook announced they were going to add an ad-free subscription service, last year.

Well, yesterday, I logged into FB on my desktop … and got the message about it … 

I went for the free option.

That’s more affordable.

Even though, at £2·99p, it’s cheaper than Twitter’s basic offering …
