24th January, 2026: Macintosh.
Hmmm …
That’s possibly good news.
I might — might — now be visible, again, on Twitter/X: after spending time being suspended.
If you’re on the service … ?
Can you head over there, look me up and let me know if I’m visible?
Cheers in advance … !
~≈X≈~
On an equally, and just as ambiguously, good front … ?
I’m due some Amazon deliveries, today: including a new air fryer.
Apparently?
One package is due to be delivered by the Royal Mail: with the rest coming via Amazon’s usual, anonymous, white van.
I just don’t know which package.
The excitement’s killing me …
~≈📦≈~
Actually, I’ve just double checked.
The air fryer’s getting delivered by Royal Mail.
I’ve got one question: will it be dropped of by Dave, the ever efficient postie?
Or by a Royal Mail van … ?
Gosh …
Let’s move on.
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Mum*, Olga†, Irene‡ and Debbi§ putting in their answers: with Olga and Debbi scoring six out of six, Irene five and Mum on four.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here’s a thought …
“Sales were strong at its initial release on January 24, 1984, at US$2,495 (equivalent to $7,600 in 2024), and reached 70,000 units on May 3, 1984.”From the Wikipedia entry on the Macintosh.
Here’s where Steve Jobs introduces the thing …
And an earworm …
The next ten question set is on 4th February: it’s about the Aldous Huxley novel, Brave New World.
Your comments, and today’s answers, will be published in tomorrow’s Teaser.
AI is avoided when writing these questions.
Answers are as accurate as possible: at the time of writing.
Decisions about scores are final.
Thank you for coming: have a good day.
* Hello, Mum! (It was Jerusalem, Taiwan and 1986, Mum: rather than Tel Aviv, North Korea and 1981.)
† It’s nice to be back, Olga. I’m just hoping the visibility sticks!
‡ Morning, Irene: how IS the day going … ? (Oh, it was samurai, Irene, rather than Samaria — Samurai are Japanese knights, Samaria’s in northern Israel: it’s where Samaritans come from.)
§ Fair enough, Debbi: let me know if they work!
