Yes, offspring of deposed monarchs usually hide out in tax-havens...or in U.S. private schools where checkbooks, endowments, and occasional legacy applicant count as much as academic achievement. Two colleges I attended, although otherwise excellent, fell into the Rich Kid category. Those schools were also full of scions of the leaders of industry, aka, filthy rich and connected. I was neither.
