The Daily Teaser …

Hey-ho!

Back to work we go … !

Yep, it’s me first day back at work after the holidays, and I’m looking forward to it.

In part … ?

Because — hopefully — we’re having the long delayed family Christmas dinner, afterwards … !

And opening the pressies … !

Ahem … !

Oh, granted, me and Anna — the elder, and very non pregnant of my two sisters — opened one or two of them.

But we thought we should wait for Ruth and little Jude to get back, to open most of them …

Just to be polite …

Lets get moving on, shall we … ?

Yes, lets … !

Trevor

“Food is life, life is food. If you don't like my approach you are welcome to go down to McDonalds"

"Most cookery programs are made in the television studio, but mine are on the street, in the desert and in the mountains. It's like that because we want to show viewers the country, so for example I'll end up having to take a donkey, that is winding through mountain passes"

"We went to buy fried fish here (in India) and we simply went to the stall which had the longest queue; that's how I can tell. You let the locals vote for the food"

"Cooking is an art and patience a virtue. Careful shopping, fresh ingredients and an unhurried approach are nearly all you need. There is one more thing - love. Love for food and love for those you invite to your table. With a combination of these things you can be an artist"

"Watch a French housewife as she makes her way slowly along the loaded stalls… searching for the peak of ripeness and flavour… What you are seeing is a true artist at work, patiently assembling all the materials of her craft, just as the painter squeezes oil colours onto his palette ready to create a masterpiece.”

"I apparently said that celebrity cooks are so up their own bottoms that they do not realise that food should be fun, not a station waiting for a train to arrive to take them to a destination to learn how to cook"

Quotes by Keith Floyd (English Celebrity Chef) born 28th December 1943.

First of all, congrats to your sis on that utterly cute little addition to the Cuddly Cuddy family.
1. Have the initials JCC - which made him crazy. He wanted to be JCS!
2. I Ain't Dead Yet (Oops, yes I am)
3. I'll say New York since it's on the east coast, but I really want to say San Francisco because I love SFO (not the V-P's initials at all)
4. Toronto
5. The Super Mario Bad Guys

1. Calhoun was the first vice president in U.S. history to resign from office
2. "I'm Tore Down"
3. Boston Elevated Railway in 1912-13. Or it could be the system in San Francisco...
4. Richmond Hill, Ontario
5. Mafia
