Well, finally … !

I have one less thing to worry about.

Do you remember me saying I was one of the people in line for a £150 rebate: one given to those in homes in Council Tax bands A to D.

I was told it could get to me by September at the latest.

It actually turned up, yesterday.

That’s handy.

It means I can pay off a large chunk of Council Tax: and get near to paying it off.

And use some to either shop … or top up my electricity.

Either way … ?

It’s one less thing to worry about.

Oh, LOVELY … !

Someone’s kicked the front door in … !

I have to admit, the street I live on … ?   Is mostly, an OK place to live.

OK, you get the ODD incident.   Mostly what — back in the day — we used to refer to as ‘handbags as dawn’.

Last night … ?

Given the state of the front door window, last night, I think we can say this was suitcases, rather than handbags.

Someone … ?
