It’s a Sunday morning.

And I’m up at silly o’clock in the morning.

Seriously silly o’clock in the morning … !

Frankly … ?   We have a staff meeting, this morning.

At 8-30.

I can’t complain about that.   I’m as curious as anyone else, to find out who’s won this period’s up selling contest.

It would be nice to retain that trophy, however meaningless it may be in the long run.

Still …

Oh, now, that’s awkward … !

My bulb’s blown … !

 Normally … ?

Normally, that wouldn’t be a problem: most of the bulbs in my flat can be easily replaced.

In fact, I’ve got a drawer-full of replacements, should any go.

Except for one particular bulb.

Yes … 

The fluorescent tube in my kitchen.

Frankly … ?

Well, frankly, I can wait until payday, before I replace it.

But, Lordy, I’m blowed if I know how much that’s going to cost … !
