House of Cards — Series 2: Episodes 12 and 13

You know, I have to confess to feeling under The weather, at the moment.

No, really.

I’ve come down with a cold.

And, to talk to … ?

You’d quite probably be sitting there thinking, “God, but Paul sounds rough!”

At least, rougher than usual!

It meant that last night, instead of what I’d been planning to do — watch the last two episodes of Series 2 of House of Cards — I got a SERIOUSLY early night.

I headed to bed about 8: stressed out after waiting around for a four terabyte hard-drive: and feeling distinctly unwell, to boot.

Tonight, though … ?

Tonight, I’m feeling a touch better.

Well … 

I’ve had more sleep.   AND … ?   Well, frankly, I’ve had enough Lemsip and nasal decongestant to worry a rhino.

But at least leave me able to watch these last two episode: AND tell you about it …

You know, I THINK I’ve had some interesting news, tonight.

Concerning the order I’d put in, for a four terabyte internal hard drive.

Let’s just say that — with a little help from a regular reader — I’ve had something of a result.

Including a £20 gift card.

Something I know I’ve been meaning to do since before Christmas?   And only now — with some time off — been able to do is catch up with something I’ve been watching.

Series 2 of the excellent Netflix version of House of Cards.

Given it’s been a few weeks … ?

I thought it was about time I sat down down with the next two episodes: episodes 10 and 11 … 

Well, I don’t know about you, but I’d like to know what’s going in Washington …

You know, late nights can be interesting.

Especially when one realises that a ‘late night’ has a habit of getting earlier … 

The older we get … 

The earlier the late nights get.

Hmmm … 

He says, eyeballing what he’s just written.

My point, here … ?   Is simply that I’m blogging late at night: for me, at least.

With a good reason, I hope.

You see, I’ve gotten into a habit of writing about TV shows I like.

Frankly, I’ve fallen in love with a few shows, just recently.   Penny Dreadful is one.   Dr Who, another.

A third … ?

Is House of Cards.   You can possibly appreciate, can’t you … ?

Especially if you’ve realised I’ve episodes 6 and 7, of Series 2, tonight …

House of Cards — Series 2: Episodes 4 and 5

You know, I have to confess to being in a funny mood, today.

I’ve spent some time on the phone to BT, this morning, complaining about my broadband usage, has left something of a taste in my mouth.

Basically?   Basically, my broadband usage seem suspiciously high for the past couple of months: and as part of trying to deal with it?

My internet service provider has help me change passwords on my router, today: to see if that helps stop any potential hijackers.

On top of THAT … ?

Time Machine, my back up programme … ?   Told me it couldn’t fit anymore back ups on to the internal drive I use as my back up drive.

Leading me to about it on Apple’s support communities.

Hopefully … ?

Someone will be able to make a suggestion or two.

At any rate … ?   Having the day off, I felt I deserved a treat of some description.

Even if it is a couple of episodes of a TV show.

And, yes, since you ask.

Yes: it WAS two episodes of the second series of House of Cards …

The night before I go back to work.

Well, I wanted to tell you about a bad habit of mine.

Oh, nothing MAJOR.
