I’m just glad an old friend decided to totter along with me.

Frankly, it made finding the please easier … 

And getting home a lot more interesting.

Even if we got off the train at Caledonian Road, instead of Holborn, on the way home!

In OTHER news … ?

It seems scientists at a Canadian observatory have found fast radio bursts coming from deep space.

They believe … well, lots of things.

But many, we’re told, believe the bursts are from some form of rotating stellar object: like a neutron star.

Some … ?

Think it’s possibly from an alien space ship.

It’d be exciting, if it was the latter.

Given the distance?   The crew of the spaceship would’ve died out a long time ago.

But it would be exciting, non-the-less.

Even then, I can’t help but think of the words of Steve Martin, in one of his Saturday Night Live sketches, back in the day.

The Daily Teaser — 12-7-2015: Julius Caesar.

Blimey, but I’m grateful to both be awake … 

And comparatively unscarred.

Especially when you consider last night — at work — we had a rather stroppy customer, in.

Although ‘rather’ is understating it.

We ended up with three police officer in the restaurant.

Count ’em: three … !

All of THIS, I should add, because someone felt I’d grabbed a fork the wrong way … and someone else felt the customer concerned should lay off the staff.

Personally … ?

I couldn’t help but think there was a certain element of ‘handbags at dawn.’

But know the glass in the front door is damaged … ?   Does put an edge on the situation …

That’s funny.

I’ve managed to notice that a job in a local office, advertised in a local newsagent’s windows, yesterday.

And managed to jot down the URL for the post.

I think the advertisers may have taken the page down.

As what I actually got was a message telling there’d been an error, and the only way I could access it, was on a browser … on the computer system in the office that posted the ad.

Hmmm … 

Yeah … 

That went a bit pair shaped …

It’s March — obviously — and the weather, so far, has been decidedly mixed.

We had snow, Monday and Tuesday.   Wednesday and Thursday were chilly, but sunny.
