Yay!

I’ve lost weight!

OK, just in case you hadn’t realised, I’m obese.

So I’m not in the best of health, as a result.

I’m working on reducing my with a mix of a heftily monitored diet, and a weekly dose of Mounjaro.

And weekly weigh-ins, every Monday.

At yesterday’s?

I founds I’d lost 1·1 kilograms.

Which is good.

That said?

I’d gained 1·6 kilograms, the week before.

So, hopefully?

I’ll’ve lost a bit more, by next week’s meeting.

Here’s hoping I can lay off the crisps in the meantime!

Well, I’m off to my weight management class: hopefully, I’d’ve lost a few grams.

That would be nice, but we’ll have to see.

He’s an ancient Persian king, so you know.

I am tired!

It’s my own damn fault: for binge watching the first series of The Big Bang Series!

If you’re in the UK … ?

You’re possibly aware that newsreader, Huw Edwards, and pled guilty to charges of making and owning indecent images of children.

His former employer, the BBC?

Is now deleting anything that features him from their archive: including from an episode of Dr Who that he appeared in.

That episode’s begin removed, it seems, until Edwards’ part of it can be replaced.

I think I’d be happier if they didn’t.

Although I know Aunty Beeb did something similar with A Fix With Sontarans, the Children in Need special that feature Jimmy Saville.

In the case of Edwards … ?

I think that putting up some sort of trigger warning — as the BBC were once doing with the iPlayer version of Porridge — would be more appropriate.

I’m very aware, though, that Edwards was the face of the BBC’s coverage of both Charles 3rd’s coronation … and the late Queen’s death.

Quite what the BBC will be doing, there … ?

I don’t know.

It’s officially official: my landlord’s been in touch.

About the little incident, last Thursday.

There were one or two other things, as well.

But that attack was the main thing: given it’s the second time the resident concerned has been attacked.

I wanted to ask out Neighbourhood officer if the person could be moved.

Whatever it is he’s up to?   He’s not safe around here.

Her opinion … ?

Was that Clarion could offer him what’s called a Management Move … if he asked for one.

Popular opinion?   Thinks he won’t ask.   I think opinion may have a point.

I can only hope the victim proves us wrong, though.

A third attack on his doorstep could leave him dead.

I think we can safely say I’ve finished the next article for PhoenixFM.

Once I’ve got a little polishing done … ?

You possibly watch the technology news, don’t you … ?

If you do, you’ll noticed the fuss around Chinese video sharing site, TikTok.

There’s security concerns: that are serious enough for President Trump to want to ban TikTok’s use in the US.

I might possibly join, given that.

At ANY rate?   From what I can see the main concern — according to US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo — is that TikTok is passing on “facial recognition patterns, addresses, phone numbers and contacts” to Beijing.

Where it’s HQ is.

From the very little I know?

That’s exactly to sort of information US tech companies — Facebook, Twitter, Microsoft — send to their HQs … to sell to advertisers.

I don’t see Trump banning them.

It’s Sunday: and, like many other Sundays?

I suspect it’s going to be a quiet one.

After all, I’m still waiting for a set of results from recent hospital test: no news is good news, they say, but the sooner it gets here, the better.

And I’m still waiting to hear if the company I’m due to start working for will accept my adoption papers as proof of my right to work in the UK.

Apparently?

The woman that interviewed me?

Is going to be checking, tomorrow.

Monday can’t come soon enough.

You’d assume I’d’ve gotten used to an early start on Saturday mornings.

But no … 

I’m still knackered … !

Oh, blast … 

It’s not my week … 

Sort of … 

I have to admit to having had the day off, yesterday.

Did the usual sort of thing for a day off: made videos, did the laundry, fended off work asking me to go in on my day off.

Not that I’m saying no to free money, but no-one else is going to do the washing-up!

At ANY rate … I had the day off.

Made the decision to watch two more episodes of The Man in the High Castle*.

And, just as I was going to start watching the second episode of two?

The bulb in the hallway went.

That’s not the problem,

The problem?   Is that none of the replacement bulbs I have — with bog-standard bayonet fittings — will fit the hallway light fitting with an apparently bog standard bayonet fitting.

BOY, I’m glad my landlord has an online repair form I can fill in …
