Yes: it’s the case I wake up … with earworms … !
Lady Gaga’s Love Game, so you know …

I don’t know.
All I can tell you is that ‘I wanna take a ride,’ line has been banging off the sides of my skull for the last few hours.
Arrrghgh!

In other news … ?
I’ve been reading Le Guin’s The Wind’s Twelve Quarters and The Compass Rose: a combined volume of two of her short story collections.
I finished one — The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas — the night before last. And The Day Before the Revolution, last night.
The latter? Is incredibly powerful: and one you should read for yourself.
The former? Well …
If The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas, about a city whose perfection comes at a dreadful cost, doesn’t have real world parallels?
I don’t know what piece of fantasy does.
“The place they go towards is a place even less imaginable to most of us than the city of happiness. I cannot describe it at all. It is possible it does not exist. But they seem to know where they are going, the ones who walk away from Omelas.”
The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas, Ursula Le Guin.
