*        That’s something that caught me, Olga: the amount of acts singing in English, over the years.   I think there’s rules about it.   If I’ve got it right, up until a few years ago, you could sing in English or French.   Which is why Waterloo was in English.   Then it got changed to English, French, or your native language … then switched to whatever the country’s native language was.   I think it’s back to English, French, or native tongue.   And possibly all about cracking the US market.   (According to one Wikipedia entry, there’s more native Spanish speakers than English: although I don’t know how many South American countries watch the contest …)

†        I wouldn’t worry, Debbi, I get days like that, too!   (For most of my life … !)   Oh, hell, let’s have some more Talking Heads … … !
