30th April, 2025.
Did I mention my nephew was here, yesterday?
My nephew, Jude, was here, yesterday.
Yes: he’s uploaded more Mikey videos.
Jude’s still mourning, I think.
I do know he’s planning to do more for his regular channel, next week.
That should be something to see!
~≈👦≈~
Oh, did I mention series two of Andor is slowly being released?
More episodes turned up, yesterday.
So far … ?
It’s looking good: although various characters and scenes remind me of all sorts of things.
Mostly the Spanish Civil War, and the French Resistance!
Let’s move on.
With Irene having issues looking on and putting her answers, here, yesterday’s Teaser saw Mum*, Olga† and Debbi‡ and Irene§ putting in their answers: with Olga, Debbi and Irene scoring five out of five, and Mum on four.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s five question set, shall we?
Q1) 30th April is Camarón Day. For whom: the SAS, the French Foreign Legion or the Navy Seals?Q2) 30th April, 1985, saw the birth of Israeli actress, Gal Gadot. Who did she play in Batman vs Superman?Q3) Johnny Galecki was born on 30th April, 1975. In which series did he play Leonard Hofstadter?Q4) Kirsten Dunst was born on 30th April, 1982. Here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …

Here’s a thought …
“Stories to end all stories on a given topic, don’t.”From “Niven’s Laws for Writers” by Larry Niven, born April 30, 1938.
And a song called “How to Spot a Hollywood Superstar in Akihabara”…
The next ten question set will be on 15th May: it’s about Mike Oldfield.
Your answers will be published tomorrow morning.
Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.
Decisions about scores are final.
Thank you for coming: have a good day.
* Hello, Mum! (Do you know how to clear caches, Mum … ?)
† It’s the old saying, again, Olga: common sense isn’t common! But I’m assuming the only issues with flights are going to be the at the control towers and airports: rather than the planes, themselves. But if any help for your cousin? Manchester’s trams are now back in action … !
Either way … ? I can only hope finding out what happened doesn’t take long. (They’ve ruled out a cyber-attack.)
‡ That’s something to be thankful for, Debbi! You won’t need the brain specialist, then!
§ Do you know how to clear your browser caches or history, Irene? That might help with the signing in issue … !

Yes, it seems they've ruled out that, although the prime minister isn't ruling out anything. I heard somebody (an expert) talking about the fact that the power supply companies (that were mostly privatised years ago) are only after profit and don't put enough safeguards in place to prevent things like this happening. It seems that there was a big production of renovable energies and they overloaded the system, but nothing should have happened if things had been done properly. (Others insist that we should not be dismantling the nuclear power stations, as these can provide backup if something like this happens, but although I remember visiting a nuclear power station when I was a teenager, I'm not terribly fond of them either). I hope we will get some answers, but I am sure there will always be people who won't accept the official explanation, whatever it is. I hope the transport issue gets sorted soon. And it was sad going to the supermarket today, as many of the aisles are still empty. I'm sure big supermarket chains will recover, but it will be a big loss for small shops.
Viggo Mortensen got stuck at Sants Estació, here in Barcelona, as well...
