Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 3-11-2025 — Dominica

3rd November, 2025: Dominica.

Yes, you’re right: it’s Monday, again!

And, yes, I’m up early, again: so I can get to my weight management meeting.

Hopefully?

I’ll have lost weight!

~≈⚖️≈~

Let’s move on.

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Mum*, Olga† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with Olga and Debbi scoring five out of five, and Mum on four.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video.

Q1)        3rd November is independence day in Dominica.   It marks the country’s independence from where: the UK, France or Germany?

Q3)        Dominica is broken up into ten what's: boroughs, parishes or counties?

Q4)        What’s Dominica’s officiallanguage?

Q5)        Finally … ?   The Carib Indian village of Saira is now Dominica’s capital.   What’s it called: Rosalie, Roseau or Saint Joseph?
Here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …

The next ten question set is on 10th November: and is about actor, Richard Burton.

Your comments will be published, tomorrow morning.

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

AI is avoided, when writing these questions.

Decisions about scores are final.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

*        Hello, Mum!   (It was 1970, rather than 1976 …)

The really interesting thing about TorBrowser, Olga?   Is that the underlying onion routing technique was developed by the US Navy: as a way to hide their internet traffic …
I’m not the only one to need Jeff Bezos’ email address: it’s jeff@amazon.com, if you were wondering … ;)

        If it’s any help, Debbi, I had the number for Nik Nak’s Anonymous, somewhere … … … … … … …

I think I passed you Jeff Bezos's e-mail a while back myself, Paul. I've been e-mailing him for years, and although he is not supposed to be in charge any longer, they still seem to answer the e-mail account, although I am not sure if they will carry on doing that.
By the way, I have decided to try and spend less time online, because helping my mother is taking more and more of my time (I'll mention it on my blog tomorrow), so I will probably visit the teaser every so often, but not daily. I will try to say hello on Twitter, though. Basically, don't worry if I don't turn up. I will let you know if there are any major news. Take care and I hope today's session has gone well.

And I still have to edit that movie I directed. Getting there.
