24th December, 2025: Christmas Eve.
I am officially up early: for a diabetic review.
Way too early!
So early, in fact, that my eyeballs hurt, and there’s utter silence from the street!
Frankly?
That’s actually quite nice.
There’s a certain romance to early mornings.

I know it’s Christmas: it’s silly season, in other words.
And, as a result of seeing a news piece on the King’s Christmas Message, this year?
I’ve got Roger Miller’s version of “England Swing’s Like a Pendulum Do”, floating around my head.
I can’t help but think one thing.
Whoever wrote the song had only heard of Westminster Abbey, and the Elizabeth Tower …
Let’s move on.
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Mum* and Debbi† putting in their answers: with Debbi scoring five out of five and Mum on three.
The day also saw Olga‡ leaving us a message.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

There’s a twelve question set is on 31st December, 2025: it’s the review of 2025.
The next ten question set is on 1st January, 2026: it’s about The Archers.
Your comments, and today’s answers, will be published in tomorrow’s Teaser.
AI is avoided when writing these questions.
Answers are as accurate as possible: at the time of writing.
Decisions about scores are final.
Thank you for coming: have a good day, and have a happy Christmas.
* Hello, Mum … ! (It was turkey and ‘secular’, Mum, not chicken and ‘Spritual’)
† I think Ruth Gordon had a very good point, there, Debbi!
A book about traditions could be good. If you can get it banned, it would sell like hot cakes!
‡ It looks like the dinner was well attended, Olga: and well organised. These things usually have to be, don’t they? And I couldn’t not mention the Caganer. I don’t usually do Christmas decorations: but might just have to treat myself.
I’ll keep my finger crossed for the TV show!
