I am still — still — yawning, at the moment.

That’s even after a night on a new mattress!

Still …

I’ve tomorrow and Sunday booked off as annual leave.

Which means one thing.

I can sleep in.

Unless something drastic, like the building burning down, happens.

Which I very much doubt.

At any rate … ?

I know that the next door neighbours will be quiet.

Lynn, who lived in the flat next door for the past decade?   Has now officially moved out, and handed back her keys.

Frankly?

I’m saddened.

As she was a good neighbour: and one of the few that have lived here longer than I have.

Right at the moment, though?

Yes, I know I’ve mentioned this before now.

But I’m wondering who on Earth’s going to move into the flat, next door!

You know … you can tell this is a week where I’ve had two days off, can’t you … ?

Well … you might not be able to: but I have.

Although I have managed to make up my hours, it has to be said.

So … ?

So I’m getting the usual weeks money, next pay day.

Saturday and Sunday?   This coming Saturday and Sunday, the fourth and fifth of March?

I‘ve got booked up as holiday.

Well, it is my birthday, Saturday: posh family meal, and all that.

But The fact I’ve had two days off, this week?

Means I’ve had as chance to catch up with some viewing.

The extended cut of Dune, last night … 

And the last two episodes of series one of Mr Robot, tonight.

And yes: I think buying the box set was worth the effort.

Did I mention it’s my birthday, on Saturday … ?

It’s my birthday on Saturday.

Just in case I forgot to mention.

At ANY rate … ?

Bless ’em my family’s decided the best way to celebrate?

Is to get me a new mattress.

Which is due to get delivered, today.

Any time between now, and 9:30*.

It’s nice to know that’s what’s happening, and that I can get on with the rest of my day.

But … ?

I managed to catch a movie, last night: the one hundred and seventy-seven minute version of David Lynch’s version of Dune.

As I recall … ?

I actually got to bed at half past midnight, after doing the write-up.

Possibly not the wisest move … !

Dune — The Extended Cut: Ummm …

You know: this may be one of those rare — for now — times where I go to bed, leaving a post unfinished.

I don’t like doing that.

Well … 

Not often, at any rate.

But am very aware that I’ve had a free evening, tonight.

And watched a film: that’s three hours long.

The extended cut of David Lynch’s Dune.

The one he took his name OFF of.
