30th September, 2025: Thunderbirds.
It’s official: I’ve lost weight!
I was at my weekly weight management class — meeting? group? — yesterday: I go every Monday, so you know.
And … ?
I’ve lost one hundred grams.
About three ounces, if you want it in Imperial.
OK: that’s not as much as last week’s loss.
But … ?
It’s nice to know there’s an ongoing trend!
Let’s move on.
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga*, Mum†, Irene ‡ and Debbi§ putting in their answers: with Olga, Mum and Debbi scoring ten out of ten, and Irene on eight.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

And a theme tune¶ …
The next ten question set is on the 24th October: it’s about Zambia.
Your comments will be published, tomorrow morning.
Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.
Decisions about scores are final.
Thank you for coming: have a good day.
* I don’t know, Olga. Yes, Sant3’s a small station — PhoenixFM’s about the same size, I think — but I envy: I would love an extra pair of hands!
On the upside … ? Yes: the weight’s behaving itself. Thanking you!
† Hello, Mum!
‡ Sorry about the score, Irene: but the actual answers were “Free man” and Number 1!
§ I’d suggest planning a review, Debbi … ! You know how to do the research better than I do. (I’ve tried keeping today’s answer short, so you know.)
Hand on, Bill Gates has class? Not with that mouse design!!!!!
¶ Barry Gray came up with a piece of genius, there!

Oh, well done on the weight front. Looking at Phonix FM, it seems it is a much bigger (or at least, professional) affair. As I told you, most of the people who collaborate don't work there full time, and there are no live programmes on, usually. All the programs are prerecorded, and the radio station is only open in the afternoons. Pau is there in the afternoons, during the week, and edits the news programme, Sants al Dia, and also helps sometimes recording other programmes if Oleguer or Roger (the other sound technician) aren't there. But they also do things like providing sound cover for local events, and they a stall to represent the radio at local events, although the interviews they do while they are there are not normally live either. The radio station is not open on the weekends either, at least not officially, although they do some live broadcast of local sports events. But, other than specific events and la festa major, everything is prerecorded, and usually, the people who do each programme, prepare the guests and/or content, but they just come at a prearranged time and it is recorded for later broadcast. Because the people are not necessarily professionals, and there isn't enough editing and sound technicians to look after the sound, there are no live programmes as such. Perhaps Phoenix doesn't either, but it seems that the presenters of the programmes are running their own show live.

I have the vaguest of memories of this show. This and Speed Racer! :)
After-school cartoons!
A review of The Prisoner. All 17 episodes. In Living Colour! :)
I really have to admire a guy who turned down the role of James Bond. On principle, no less. :) Love it.
