Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 26th October, 2018

26th October, 2018.

Yep: NOW I’m worried.

It’s not a work day: but, as it’s payday?

One I’d’ve preferred to have been up on time for.

Wouldn’t you know it … ?

I forgot to turn off my alarm … !

Arrgh … !

~≈§≈~

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga* and Debbi† putting in their answers: with both scoring five out of five.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video …

Q1) Tvrtko I was crowned: on 26th October, 1377.   As king of where?
Q2) The Hoover Dam’s first what, went into operation: on 26th October, 1936?
Q3) Bhumibol Adulyadej was cremated: on 26th October, 2017.   He was better known as Rama 9th of where … ?
Q4) The House of Lords voted for the House of Lords Act, 1999: on 26th October, 1999.   It removed all but how many peers from the House: 92, 93 or 94?

Here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …

A5) Slovenia.
Here’s a thought …
“When you get to my age, what you want is the cameo. You get paid a lot of money. You fly in for a couple of weeks. Everybody treats you like the crown jewels. It’s all great and if the film turns out to be a load of s**t, nobody blames you.”
Bob Hoskins, 26 October 1942 – 29 April 2014.
And a song …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Have a good day.

*        It’s definitely a bit odd, Olga.   I got the impression the FBI had traced things to Missippi … but, as it turns out, they checking out a facility in Miami … !   It’s strange, certainly!   Possibly the world’s first case of retro-terrorism …

†        Did you catch the title, Debbi?   I think someone couldn’t resist the pun … !   (THINK I’d prefer The Spiders from Mars, myself … )
