Oh, blimey … Turn’s out the BBC are repeating New Tricks.

And when I New Tricks, I mean some of the earlier series, complete with the original cast: Alun Armstrong, Amanda Redman, James Bolam and Dennis Waterman, as Brian Lane, DSI Sandra Pullman, Jack Halford and Gerry Standing.

Now, usually, I’m not one for police procedurals.

But New Tricks?   With either old or new cast, was always worth a watch.
