The Daily Teaser — 31-12-2015: The Review of 2015

It’s the last day of the year.

Obviously!

It’s the last day of the year: and frankly … ?

Well, I’m not TOO worried about seeing in the new year.

Frankly, I’d rather be in bed.

On the other hand … ?

On the OTHER hand hand, I’ve got a day off.

And as my employees usually pay everyone on Friday — a bank holiday — they’ve decided to pay us early.

Today, in other words.

To be honest … ?   I might just start a savings account.

Assuming my bank’s online savings account is easy to open.

Saving money I’m hopeless at doing: it might just pay me, for once …

The Brentwood Gazette’s Weekly Teaser — 30-12-2015: Back In The USSR

Blimey, I’m rushing … !

Well, I’ve got an excuse: I’m working today: and want to make sure I’m on time.

But … ?

It’s a Wednesday …

Which means only one thing … !

~≈Â≈~

The Daily Teaser — 30-12-2015

Right …

It’s a Wednesday …

You know that.

And, as ever, it’s a Wednesday where I’m feeling vaguely — or possibly deeply — rushed.

This IS, after all, the first of a few posts: I’ll be adding the ones for the Gazette, in a while.

AND I’ve got to get to work for 12:30.

All that … ?

And I think another cup of tea’s in order!

The Daily Teaser — 29-12-2015

Good lord, Lemmy’s died … !

I don’t know if you’re ever one for some of the … uhhh … harder forms of rock music.

But over the years?

You, like I, wouldn’t have missed Motorhead: quite possibly the fastest, loudest, heavy metal band on Planet Earth.

You’d’ve probably also heard a few of Motorhead’s songs.

Once heard … ?   Not forgotten.

The man behind both the vocals, and basslines?   Has died.

The world will be a quieter place.

Sadly.

RIP, Lemmy.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens: Nice …

*Spoilers*
28th December, 2015.

You know, it’s Christmas.

Or, at least, it’s BEEN Christmas.   I was only saying, this morning, how I felt the holiday period was over for another year.

Well …

With the possible exception of New Year’s Day, maybe.

At ANY rate … ?

At ANY rate, courtesy of my sisters?

Courtesy of Anna, the older of my two sisters, she, I and our other sister, Ruth — Jude’s mum, in other words — had one last Christmas present to unwrap.

Tickets to see a movie.

Not just any old movie, either.

The one in the poster.   The one that’s made a billion in the fastest possible time.

Possibly the most heavily awaited film of the year.

And, yes … I’m thinking ‘Nice’ is the word …

~≈¥≈~

The Daily Teaser — 28-12-2015: Neptune

Right …

It is — as far as I’m concerned — the end of Christmas.

Yes, I know we’ve got until Epiphany, on January 5th.

It’s not officially over, until then.

But … ?

I’m having the last of my few days off, today: AND opening the last of my presents.

Yes … tickets to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Don’t say anything: I’d rather not see spoilers!!

The Daily Teaser — 27-12-2015

Right … That’s ANOTHER email sent to CBS’s legal team.

As you probably know, I’ve posted up a clip from Penny Dreadful to YouTube: in order to a point about the show, in the review.

CBS, as the show’s ultimate copyright owners?   Objected.

Even OVER my pointing out I have a Fair Use claim.

They quite decidedly have suggested two separate course of action!

Hopefully … ?   I can find out which one they want and get on with things.

~≈Â≈~

At ANY rate … ?

At any rate, and in the meantime, I’ve set up the fourth generation Apple TV I’ve been given for Christmas.

I HAVE to say, the remote takes a little getting used to.   But does works well, and is intuitive to use, when you have.   It took me about five minutes.

Saying that … ?   I’m still tempted to get another: JUST in case.   Oh … I’m ALSO tempted to get a game controller for it.

Some of the casual games you can get for it are SERIOUSLY up my street!

~≈Â≈~

The Daily Teaser — 26-12-2015: Boxing Day

Well …

Christmas is — as far as I’m concerned — now over.

Well … unless you consider the fact there’s now 364 days until NEXT Christmas!

At any rate, the main stress is now over: leaving only bin bags of wrapping paper to be disposed of: andy the really fiddly presents to be set up.

Personally … ?   Personally, I’ve got two to arrange: a new monitor, and a fourth generation Apple TV.

I’m going to be having fun with that!

But frankly?   I’ll be heading over to my family’s today.   My nephew, Jude?   Turns five, today.   I’m hoping the harmonica I’ve got him goes down well!

Dr Who Christmas Special — 25-12-2015: The Husbands of River Song

It’s Christmas Day.

You can TELL, can’t you … ?

Wrapping paper, everywhere, frustrations, toys getting thrown out of the pram …

And that’s the grown ups … !

Of course the upside … ?

Is the new monitor and Apple TV I’ve been given.

AND how well a Certain Nephew felt about some Thunderbirds toys Santa brought him … !

If only that Turtle play set was as easy to assemble …

~≈∑≈~

The Daily Teaser — 25-12-2015: Christmas Day

Well, that’s two presents opened … !

I’ve now got my own Mad Hatter keyring … AND an compilation CD, as well.   Which looks rather interesting.

And will be imported into iTunes, the minute I get the chance!

All of that … ?   Is courtesy of a Secret Santa scheme we do at work.

Which are rather fun.

So you know, a few work places I know of, do a Secret Santa: basically, you get assigned a random person to give a gift to — USB sticks with keyrings make for a good example, you can never have to many USB sticks — and a spending limit, and buy your giftee a present: AND end up getting one, yourself.

Personally … ?   I’ve got a FUNNY feeling whoever got mine for me?   Would SERIOUSLY get on with my Aunty Bella!

At any rate … ?   That’s put a smile on my face, first thing on a Christmas morning.

:D

The Daily Teaser — 24-12-2015: Christmas Eve

Hmmm …

THAT’S one hell of a thing to happen: on Christmas Eve.

You’ve possibly worked out I’m having a conversation with TV producers, CBS.

I’ve posted a clip from Penny Dreadful, a while back: under what I believe to be correctly used ‘Fair Use’ exceptions to US and UK law.

They’s replied to my recent email.   Asking me to remove the clip from YouTube.

And contradicting their original email, where they offer to unblock the video, if I cancel my appeal.

Hmmm … In amongst going to work, today, buying one last present, wrapping it and doing the tag, in between writing a few Teasers and doing the associated videos, AND pick up a prescription* … ?

I’ve got to deal with CBS.

Hmmm …

Lovely … !

~≈§≈~

The Brentwood Gazette’s Weekly Teaser — 23-12-2015: A Visit from Saint Nick

Right …

It’s Wednesday.

You know.

And, having followed me for a while?

You’re PROBABLY away I’ve;

a) Got a job
b) Usually work on a Wednesday, and
c) Feeling a bit rushed!

With THAT said … ?

Let’s get a move on … !

~≈Ê≈~

The Daily Teaser — 23-12-2015

Hmmm …

Well, that’s BT sorted … possibly …

But not CBS …

I’ve mentioned, over the past few days, about how I’ve been having some form of problem with my Broadband usage.

Well …

Which BT could only solve … ?   By offering to upgrade my call package.   OK, It’s only a few pounds dearer: and it means I’ve now got no problem about downloading anything.

But it’s not my preferred solution.

~≈Ê≈~

THEN there’s CBS!   I said, yesterday, I’d had an email about the clip from Penny Dreadful that I’d posted to Youtube: as part of a review.   CBS, protecting their property, want it taken down: but offered a compromise: I take down the appeal, they’ll remove the block

I’ve sent them an email: basically to ask for written assurances that that’s what’ll happen.   Here’s hoping!

~≈Ê≈~

Tuesday, 22 December 2015

The Daily Teaser — 22-12-2015

Hmmm …

Looks like I’ve got an email from CBS.

So you know, they’re the company that ultimately owns the rights to Penny Dreadful: a show I’m thoroughly enjoyed for some time.

I’ve had a video up for a while: this clip.

That goes with this review.

Now, I’ve been disputing this for sometime: CBS have emailed me, saying, in part, “Unfortunately, we must object to your statements that your posting qualifies as a fair use.”

They don’t feel my posting the clip qualifies, and imply they’ll be prosecuting, in order to get it taken down.

BUT also say “To resolve the issues raised, we propose that you withdraw your appeal with YouTube and in exchange, CBS will release the block on your video.”

I’m … well … I’m hoping they’re acting in good faith, should I choose to take their offer up.   But HAVE to admit to a certain amount of healthy scepticism.

But might just send them an email, asking for their assurances that this is what will happen, and see how things go.

Here’s hoping … !

The Daily Teaser — 21-12-2015

Right …

I’m going to wear an embarrassed look … !

I mentioned, yesterday, that today’s my day off.

Boy, did I get mixed up … !

I was looking at the wrong bit of my schedule!

My day off, is actually tomorrow.

Boy, am I going to need that … !

~≈Â≈~

The Daily Teaser — 20-12-2015

You know, my eyeballs feel …

Well, bleugh is about the best term.

Right at the moment?   I’ve done a straight week: as the place I work shuts over the holiday period, which means everyone’s shifts have been juggled around.

I’m working, today, from 2 in the afternoon, until 8, just as an example.

So the fact that tomorrow … ?  The fact that tomorrow, I have a day off, before a last pre-Xmas shift on Wednesday, is something I’m looking forward to.

At least for no other reason than having time to do my laundry.

~≈Â≈~

The Daily Teaser — 19-12-2015: The World Service

Right …

I’m assuming you’ve been reading me, for the past few days?

Well, BT — at least their phone rep — have managed to turn off the BT FON feature on my router: and tell me that’s having an effect.

They’ll be phoning back on Tuesday, to see how THAT’S going!

I’m hopeful.

Although, frankly … ?   The fact BT’s sent me another email, warning I’m going to go over my limit, this month, tells you something.

Quite WHAT, I don’t know!

But … ?

Well …

We’ll have to see, won’t we?

~≈†≈~

The Daily Teaser — 18-12-2015: UN International Arabic Day

Right … It’s D-Day, I think.

It’s certainly payday, I know that.   And for once … ?

I think I avoid buying anything on Amazon.   Although you never know: there may well be that LAST thing!

It’s ALSO the day BT are going to phone me about my router, and broadband usage.

Hopefully … ?   We’ll be able to sort out something … !

~≈∑≈~

The Daily Teaser — 17-12-2015: Vogue

Hmmm …

You know, my on-going broadband situation … is on-going …

Which you’d probably worked out, hadn’t you … ?

But, just so you know … ?

Last night, I’d had two conversation with someone from BT: about trying to turn off the BT Fon feature on my router.   Something I’m told can be of benefit.

The FIRST call … ?   Was frustrating, and got me no-where.

The SECOND?   Was EQUALLY frustrating: the woman I was talking to told me that, as I had no-way of accessing the feature, she would turn off BT FON, from her end, and that it would take about an hour.

The screen shot — taken this morning — of the web-page that allows me to tinker with the router’s settings will tell you everything you need to know, I think.

It’s still active.   What’s more, last night saw the usage monitor BT provide us with, went down.   Which I thought was … well, SLIGHTLY suspicious …

At ANY rate … ?

I really am getting frustrated about this.

And wondering what on EARTH’s happening!

House of Cards — Series 2: Episode 8 and 9

You know, I THINK I’ve had a stressful day off.

No, really.

OK, I’ve little more than write Teasers: but I’ve ALSO been waiting for a call.

From BT, would you believe.

My broadband user seems unusually high: and NOT dropping, despite my efforts to keep an eye one these things.

And today has seen me trying to get BT to turn off a feature built into my router: that I can’t otherwise access.

It’s Wednesday.   ALSO know, to some of my fellow Twitter users, as Hump Day.

The fact the feature concerned still isn’t deactivated … ?

Means having the hump is putting it mildly …

~≈‰≈~

The Brentwood Gazette’s Weekly Teaser — 16-12-2015: Hanging Around

Hmmm …

Now, I’m officially slightly rushed.

I want to quickly get out of the house, into town, and back again: BEFORE BT phone me about my broadband.

AND get get in time to set something up.

~≈Ê≈~

The Daily Teaser — 16-12-2015: Arthur C Clarke

Right … I now have … a day off … !

Frankly … ?   It’s one I’m hoping to write a few Teasers on: as well as make the associated videos.

It MIGHT not go that way, though.

Remember me saying that my broadband usage seemed suspiciously high, over the past few months?

Well, BT are due to phone me, today.   One of my neighbours has suggested I turn off the BT Fon feature — that let’s people use the BT Wi-fi service — as doing so had helped her in similar circumstances.

Hopefully … ?

They’ll be able to talk me through the relevant procedure.

Although, to be frank … ?

I’m starting to wonder how much help it CAN be … ?

I’m not losing hope about the situation.   But I AM feeling mildly cynical about the whole thing.

~≈Â≈~

The Daily Teaser — 15-12-2015

You know, that 2:30 to 8:30 shift I did yesterday?   And repeating, today?

Well, I’m not complaining, too much.

The fact I’m working, and can can afford to buy Christmas presents, is fine.

But, my word, those 2:30 to 8:30 are awkward ones!

It’s too late in the afternoon and evening to get any thing done: at least anything extensive.

At least, that’s my opinion.

Still …

If nothing else, yesterday’s shift went well enough.   I can only hope that’s added to my up selling record …

~≈É≈~

The Daily Teaser — 14-12-2015

Oooooohhhh, but that’s good …

Right now … ?   Right now I’ve just managed to get myself my first cup of tea of the morning.

Frankly, the caffeine’s welcome.

Initially … ?   Well, initially, today was going to be a day off.

Until yesterday, that is.

When one co-worker had to pull out of the shift he’s was scheduled for.

I’m happy to fill in, given notice: and happily did.   The extra money’s welcome.

THEN I managed to get to bed, last night, at about midnight.   After all, doing a shift, today, meant catching up with Teaser writing, and emailing BT about my broadband usage.

The latter’s on-going: I seem to have used a lot more, in the past few months, so was emailing them to clear up on a point.

At any rate … ?

It means, this morning … ?

Well …

That caffeine’s definitely welcome … !

~≈Â≈~

The Daily Teaser — 13-12-2015

You know, I think I’m getting old.

Whilst, of course, still mentally feeling like a teenager, at times.

Either way … ?

Well, either way, I’m getting old.

And starting to feel … not the heat … but the cold.

Right at the moment … ?

Right at the moment, it’s just coming up to 7:43, my heating is on …

And I’m definitely thinking my boiler’s taking its time to do its thing!

Brrr … !

~≈‡≈~

The Daily Teaser — 12-12-2015

Ye … GODS …

But that was the third Friday night I’ve worked, on the bounce.

Not that I’m complaining, too much.   Especially having been out of work for so long.

Still …

It would be nice to have a Friday night off, complete with a certain amount of cash.

~≈Ï≈~

The Daily Teaser — 11-12-2015

Oh, for HEAVEN’S Sake … !

My second monitor is going bananas … again!

I’ve got an first generation MacPro, running Lion: one that, as far as I know, has still got some legs in it.

The widescreen Asus monitor I’m using as a second screen — one I’m using with a VGA to DVI adaptor, as it can’t connect via DVI — seems to have issues.

With the thing’s on-screen menu — it’s on-screen menu, rather than anything the OS is doing — occasionally coming on.

Changing the cables helps, every-so-often.

And right now, it seems to have calmed down.

But, BOY … !

I’m hoping for SOMETHING for Christmas … !

House of Cards — Series 2: Episodes 6 and 7

You know, late nights can be interesting.

Especially when one realises that a ‘late night’ has a habit of getting earlier …

The older we get …

The earlier the late nights get.

Hmmm …

He says, eyeballing what he’s just written.

~≈‰≈~

My point, here … ?   Is simply that I’m blogging late at night: for me, at least.

With a good reason, I hope.

You see, I’ve gotten into a habit of writing about TV shows I like.

Frankly, I’ve fallen in love with a few shows, just recently.   Penny Dreadful is one.   Dr Who, another.

A third … ?

Is House of Cards.   You can possibly appreciate, can’t you … ?

Especially if you’ve realised I’ve episodes 6 and 7, of Series 2, tonight …

~≈‰≈~

The Daily Teaser — 10-12-2015

Lord knows what happened, there, then … !

Did I tell you that I get up, at night, to go to the loo?

Every-so-often, I get up at night …

Yeah, you get my point.

I managed it, this morning.   And couldn’t help but notice the flashing emergency lights,

And wondering what that was.

The WEIRD bit … ?

I’ve just had a reporter from the Gazette get in touch with me.

LITERALLY.

It turns out that a fire broke out in an electrical cupboard, in Torville Court.

I’m thinking, right now, that things could’ve been a lot worse.

Especially if, as I’ve maintained for years, the parking around here gets any worse than it is …

~≈∑≈~

The Brentwood Gazette’s Weekly Teaser — 9-12-2015: Soap And Flannel

You know, I’m rushed, at the moment.

And hoping like HELL the Gazette’s version of This week’s questions have gone through.

At ANY rate … ?

Let’s get shifting …

~≈Á≈~

The Daily Teaser — 9-12-2015: Kirk Douglas

Right …

It has to be said, it’s a Wednesday.

But you’d worked that out, hadn’t you … ?

At any rate, it’s a Wednesday: and, as I’m working?   I’m feeling slightly rushed.

One thing I WILL tell you … ?

Remember me saying the flat over the road from me got raided, last week?

Well, the previous tenants had moved out a little while ago.   And it struck me that the new tenants seem to be …

Well, let’s put it this way: the ‘flat’ over the road is a two-storey one.   Basically, it’s a three bedroom house, with a block of flats on top.

I’ve only ever noticed one light on, over there: there seems to be only one person living there.

It seems very under occupied, for a three bedroom house.

The raid … ?   Well, the raid basically did one thing.

My landlords rent out the flats in the area.

The raid got me concerned enough to get in touch with them.

What’ll happen, there … ?

Who knows …

~≈Ê≈~

Tuesday, 8 December 2015

The Daily Teaser — 8-12-2015

Blimey, it get’s odder …

Well, maybe odder’s not the word.

Maybe the word is … um …

Actually, I’m not too sure what the word is.

But, can I ask you is you remember me mentioning the raid in the flat over the road from me, a couple of days ago?

Well, the story’s got legs, to use an old phrase.

You see, I’ve had news .

For starters, and as I may have already mentioned, it turns out the raid was performed by the Metropolitan Police: rather than the Essex Police whose patch Brentwood is.

Well, yesterday, I had a phone call from someone in a very good position to know what’s going on.

Apparently?

There were two men arrested at the flat, during the raid.

As it turns out … ?

On suspicious of murdering a 17-year-old teenager called Gary Scott, in Marquis Road, Finsbury Park.

Yes, you’re right.

The word is “Blimey!”

~≈Â≈~

House of Cards — Series 2: Episodes 4 and 5

You know, I have to confess to being in a funny mood, today.

I’ve spent some time on the phone to BT, this morning, complaining about my broadband usage, has left something of a taste in my mouth.

Basically?   Basically, my broadband usage seem suspiciously high for the past couple of months: and as part of trying to deal with it?

My internet service provider has help me change passwords on my router, today: to see if that helps stop any potential hijackers.

On top of THAT … ?

Time Machine, my back up programme … ?   Told me it couldn’t fit anymore back ups on to the internal drive I use as my back up drive.

Leading me to about it on Apple’s support communities.

Hopefully … ?

Someone will be able to make a suggestion or two.

At any rate … ?   Having the day off, I felt I deserved a treat of some description.

Even if it is a couple of episodes of a TV show.

And, yes, since you ask.

Yes: it WAS two episodes of the second series of House of Cards …

~≈É≈~

The Daily Teaser — 7-12-2015: The Galileo Probe

Oh …

POOP!

I am having problems!

I’ve got a Mac.   I absolutely love them to bits, I REALLY do.

This morning, though … ?

I have a problem.

I find that that Time Machine — the onboard back-up program that ships with the version of OS X I use — can’t back up …

Because the extra internal drive I use as my back up drive … is full … !

Right now … ?

I’m thinking I need to get a bigger internal drive: I’d hate to not have a back-up solution.

And wouldn’t you know it … ?

Unless advertising revenue starts coming in, I’m going to have to wait until AFTER Christmas!

Assuming I get pots of money for Christmas.

Blast … !

The Daily Teaser — 6-12-2015: TAXI!

That’s a thought …

Did I mention, a couple of days ago, that police raided the flat opposite mine?

I’ve got to admit, I’d love to know WHY … but then, who wouldn’t … ?

Last night … ?

Well, last night, I got home from work …
Only to notice that the light was still on in one of the rooms, in the flat.

I just have to wonder what on EARTH is happening, there … !

Well … wouldn’t you … ?

Dr Who Series 9: Episode 12 — Hell Bent

You know, I HAVE to admit …

I’ve given up one up one or two bad habits.

Smoking and drinking the two SERIOUSLY big one.

But haven’t given up others.

Seriously unhealthy eating?

That’s one I’ve not managed to completely given up.

Which reminds me: I really do need to get some vegetables in.

Man — at least this man — cannot live on beans, alone.

At ANY rate … ?

One other bad habit is to blog, last thing at night: after a hards shift at work.

But at least … ?   At least I can tell you I’ve seen tonight’s episode of Dr Who …

~≈É≈~

The Daily Teaser — 5-12-2015

You know, there’s an old saying: ‘red sky at night, shepherd’s delight, red sky in the morning, shepherd’s warning.’

The reason I mention this … ?

Is the simple fact I wish I’d grabbed a photo of the view outside my window, this morning.

To the point I’m kicking myself for not doing so.

Ever seen some of those Japanese watercolours: where the sky’s depicted as stunning — and incredibly intense — shades of red?

That was what the sky looked like.

It got me thinking: that either there’s one heck of a lot of bad weather coming.

Or something’s on fire.

Makes you wonder …

The Daily Teaser — 4-12-2015: The Dandy

Right …

I managed to picked up the Brentwood Gazette, yesterday: a day later than usual.

And … ?   It seems there’s more problems with any potential plans to build a cinema in town.

Apparently?

A supermarket that’s looking at taking out a tenancy on the site is kicking off about the lack — or excess — of parking!

On top of that … ?

The patch of ground around the corner from me — that I’ve always spoken against, as I feel further development would impede emergency vehicle access — has no had planning permissions given: for more flats.

The fact the flat opposite mine was raided by the police, last night … ?

Is practically incidental.

~≈¥≈~

The Daily Teaser — 3-12-2015: Another Fine Mess

Hmmm …

Which is an especially thoughtful way of putting it.

But … ?   As I’m sure you’re aware, British MPs voted, last night, to take part in bombing raids on IS targets in Syria.

Personally … ?

I’m not convinced that’s a good idea.   I don’t know that I followed ALL of the arguments, nor do I think I’ve seen ALL of the evidence.

I don’t feel as strongly about it as I did about Tony Blair’s Iraq War: but I’m still not convinced it’s the right thing to do.

I’m ALSO think that David Cameron and company have not put down any plans — from what I could see — for what’s supposed to happen, AFTER any such raids are done with.   Given we have a government that’s made a big thing of making cuts in public services?   I think the current Tory administration spending money on this bombing campaign is unjustified: and somewhat hypocritical.

Especially given they made no statement — from what I saw of yesterday’s debate — about the ongoing cost, or of when Britain’s forces would stop bombing.

There’s also the argument this would ‘protect’ Britain from IS.   I know at least one of the 7/7 bombers stated their reasons blamed Britain’s actions in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I’ll happily admit, IS — IS Daish, or whatever we’re calling them, this week — are a nasty peace of work.   And likewise admit I have no idea of any alternative.

But can’t help but feel this is a mistake …

House of Cards — Series 2: Episodes 1, 2 and 3

You know, I have to admit to being up, comparatively late.

The night before I go back to work.

But … ?

Well, I wanted to tell you about a bad habit of mine.

Oh, nothing MAJOR.

It’s I’ve got a bad habit of binge-watching TV box sets.

And thought I’d share … !

~≈†≈~

The Brentwood Gazette’s Weekly Teaser — 2-12-2015: Saint Paul’s Cathedral

Right …

It’s officially done …

I’ve now — officially — wrapped all my Christmas presents.

Which, as you can POSSIBLY imagine … ?

Is a job and a half: especially when you consider at least three of those presents are for my nephew, Jude.

Who’s going to be five on Boxing Day.

If you’d like To add to Jude’s pile of presents, please, feel free.

His Grandmother tells me he’s going to enjoy the harmonica I got him … !

The Daily Teaser — 2-12-2015

Oh, BLAST … !

There’s me with egg on my face!

I spent a lot of yesterday, trying to complain to BT about my broadband usage.

I’d gone over my broadband limit: and felt this was no fault of mine.

As it turns out … ?

As it turns out, the fault was definitely mine.

As it turns out … ?   When I rented Terminator: Genesys from iTunes, I’d rented the HD version, rather than the SD version: with the former being much larger than the latter, and chewing up more of my limit.

And adding to the bill, for this month.

Can you do me a favour?

Remind me NOT to do that … !

The Daily Teaser — 1-12-2015

Right … It’s the first of two days off, today.

And … ?

Well, I’m supped to be helping my mother shift a washing machine, today.

Which SHOULD go well enough, although I really hate heavy lifting.

Still, needs must.

The disappointing part of it?

Is I was planning to sun myself on the beach.

It’s just a shame it’s not the weather for it …
