Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 21-12-2025 — Dalek Day.

21st December, 2025: Dalek Day.

Right … it’s officially Solstice.

Which means it’s the shortest day of the year, and it’s going to start getting dark, early.

Does it mean we have an excuse to start singing?

Not if you have a voice like mine!

Some else can do the job!

Did I mention yesterday wasn’t the Solstice … ?

Yesterday wasn’t the Solstice.

But did see my nephew pay a visit: and upload a video.

Let’s move on.

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga*, Mum† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with everyone scoring five out of five.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s Dalek-themed questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video.

Q1)        21st December, 1963, saw the first appearance of the Daleks.   In which TV show: Dr Who, Bleep and Booster or Hancock?

Q5)        Finally … ?   The Curse of The Daleks was the first stage play to feature the Daleks.   It debuted on 21st December of which year of the 1960s?

Here’s a thought …

A Dalek, speaking in the trailer for the first Dalek Movie …
And a song …

There’s a twelve question set is on 31st December, 2025: it’s the review of 2025.

The next ten question set is on 1st January, 2026: it’s about The Archers.

Your comments, and today’s answers, will be published in tomorrow’s Teaser.

AI is avoided when writing these questions.

Answers are as accurate as possible: at the time of writing.

Decisions about scores are final.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

*        From what Penny was saying, Olga, she may have to authorise what she called an ‘unattended funeral’.   Which would be a shame, I think.   She also told me that Trevor hadn’t told her he’d named her as his executor … until she found the will.   Which is Trevor all over!
I’ll look forward to the link: it sounds like it busy, though.   That’s possibly a good thing, though!

        Hello, Mum!

It’s definitely sad, Debbi.   JUST as a thought, have you still got the phone Rick took … ?   I can send it to Penny, for the memorial page.   Whether she’d use it is a whole other matter, but at least she’d have it.
