6th Marc, 2026.
Currently … ?
I am swearing … a lot … !
As … ?
It’s turning into a frustrating morning.
Usually, in making my introduction video, Final Cut Pro and iMovie have no issue finding, and using, my Music library.
Today, they didn’t: for an unknown reason.
So … ?
Wanting something to listen to, while I wrote … ?
I switched on my copy of Apple Music.
Which also refused to load up my music library.
Until I held down the Option (⌥) key, whilst opening the app: which allowed me to point the thing at my media library.
So that’s that issue solved: after a certain amount of panicking!
However … ?
Final Cut — and iMovie, as it turned out — couldn’t access the Music library.
Why … ?
I don’t know.
I can only hope posting this to the Apple Communities forum will help!
Let’s move on.

Decisions about scores are final.
Thank you for coming: have a good day.
* Hello, Mum. (The Italians used airships, Mum, not biplanes.)
† It went well enough, Olga: although I’m very aware I’m getting older! I’m sorry about the Twitter situation, too: but it wasn’t making things easy, as you probably noticed!
Most of reviews for the iPhone 17e seem favourable: I’m very aware that Linus Sebastian of Linus Tech Tips — who’s something of a big beast technology vlogger — has been very flattering. Which, for a noted PC/Linux/Windows fan is remarkable.
I’ll keep my fingers crossed your Mum, and the builder, are OK: it sounds like yesterday was hairy!
‡ ‘Oh, My’ … ? That sounds very familiar, Debbi!
