You’ve possibly realised that the Artemis 2 mission has been happening.
And is now officially heading home: after finishing the part of the mission that saw it go behind the far side of the moon … and carry out various observations.
In the process, they became the only humans to go that far into space, and were cut off from radio contact for some forty minutes: as the Moon was blocking the radio signal.
I can’t imagine how strange that must have been: being the most isolated humans in history.
Here’s hoping they get back, safely: I can possibly ask them …
