I’ve got to admit, last night saw Egyptian President Mubarak telling Egypt and the world he was going to step down at the next election.

The trouble with that … ?

Is that it looks like — from I can make of the news reports — is that it seems the people of Egypt don’t seem especially happy about it

I can’t say I blame them, in a way: after all, they’ve only been asking to “Step down, now” for a week …
