The Daily Teaser: 14-8-11

Hmmm …

I’ve got to admit, I’ve now got an old episode of Horizon on, at the mo.

All about what’s called — depending on who you ask — Hawking’s Paradox, or Information Paradox.

Lord know’s if I’ve even STARTED to understand that one!

I mean, beyond the fact that it’s about black holes, and the way quantum particles interact with them.

Look, I do quizzes, I’m blowed if I know!

But the episodes being rather helpful in explaining the basics.

I still don’t know if I could explain it, but at least I’m in a better layman’s position to understand it*.

I think …

Let’s get moving on, shall we … ?

Yes, lets …

Hi there! I did a quick check of some of your recent posts, so I'm assuming/hoping you and yours are well and unaffected by the awful stuff I've been hearing about what's been going on in London. I haven't been online or paid much attention to the news, but I did hear there were riots, so I was thinking about people I knew and wondering how they were.

Anyway, once I've gone through my (literally) hundreds of emails, I'll probably blog about my vacation. :)

2. shipyard
3. hanging
4. 1936
5. offshore pirate radio stations

Debbi, I’m fine: granted, London’s only twenty or so miles away, so the rioting didn’t get much out of north west, and south west arts of town

It was a bit hairy for a friend of mine, though, who lives near some of the affected areas.

Oh, and by the way … ?

Welcome Back, enjoy the new favicon …
