The Daily Teaser — 15-1-2013

Oh, now that’s sad: but a sign of the times.

It’s been announced, today, that music and video retailers, HMV has gone into administration.

Like I say, it’s sad: especially for those who’s jobs are under threat.

But have to admit, I’d had half a guess as to the cause.

We, as a whole — especially here in the UK — are becoming very used to the convenience of buying online.   Things like the iTunes store, Amazon and sites like LoveFilm are radically changing the face of retail.

Any company that doesn’t keep up, is doing itself, its customers and staff, a huge disservice.

Rant over: let’s move on.
