The Daily Teaser — 9-10-2014: John Lennon

You’ve gotta love a nephew, haven’t you … ?

Bless him, Jude — my (almost) four year old nephew — has finally worked out he likes Batman!

Well, you kind of HAVE to at his age, don’t you … ?

But I have to admit, when my sister, Anna — Jude’s aunty — sent me this photo, it put a smile on my face.

 Definitely.

Weeeeell …

That sort of sheer cheeky usually does.

But let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Debbi* putting in her answers: and scoring ten out of ten.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s Lennon themed set, shall we?   Here they are, along with the How To, License and video …

Q4) What was the name of the skiffle band Lennon formed, in 1956?
Q5) Lennon’s better known, second band, The Beatles, were formed in 1960.   The name was suggested by the band’s original bassist: what was his name?

I’ll leave you with this thought …
“I’ve always considered my work one piece and I consider that my work won’t be finished until I am dead and buried and I hope that’s a long, long time.”

John Lennon: from his last radio interview, on the day of his death, on 8/12/1980.
And this song …

Enjoy the day …

*        I’m looking forward to it turning up, Debbi†.   (It’s one of those series, I think, a bit like The Prisoner and The Singing Detective: setting a bar for their respective genres.)

†        Oh, today might be a good day to try and see if you can use Tor to access the BBC iPlayer, here in the UK.   Radio Four’s Today programme has just had an interview with John Lydon …

ª        That’s universally referred to — in the UK — as the pound sign: and this — # — as a hash sign.   Our US cousins call the latter a pound sign as — historically — it was used in the original 13 colonies to show pounds, weight: something generally shown — in the UK — as lbs.
