The Daily Teaser — 24-11-2014

Now, that was nice to see, last night.

Bless, the BBC’s been doing a science-fiction season over the past few days.

And, while I think I’ve already seen most of the films they’re airing as part of this … ?

It’s nice to see that they’re ALSO repeating they 1981 version of John Wyndham’s The Day Of The Triffids.

To be frank … ?

To be frank, I know the Triffids themselves are — arguably — ropey.

But I personally think this version’s on a par, if not better, than the 2009 version: that took a few liberties with the text I felt were unjustifiable.

Either way … ?

I also think it’s worth an evening of your time.

But let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Debbi* putting in her answers: and scoring five out of six.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

I’ll leave you with this song …

And this thought …
“Man has historically devoted much more subtle and ingenious thought to inflicting cruelty than to giving others pleasure — which, given his gregarious nature, would seem a much more survival-oriented behaviour.”

Spider Robinson, born 24th November, 1948.
Enjoy your day.
