Right … 

I’ve a day off, ahead of me.

Something I intend to make use of: catching up with things by (mild) housework, writing a teaser or two … 

And helping my mother with her shopping.

OK, not necessarily a big day.

But one that’ll see stuff done … !

*        Fun doesn’t even start, Debbi!   It’s a seriously impressive series, going by the first season.   Eva Green and Rory Kinnear are revelations.   Oh, and Billie Piper — Rose — is in it.   (And ends up … in a sticky mess, frankly … !)

†        It’s supposed to be one of THE best places to visit, Olga‡.   Although I’m very aware a couple of friends went to the Village: on their respective honeymoons.   Then both went through messy divorces, a few years later.   Not that there’s ANY co-relation, obviously!!

‡        Funny ol’ thing for you and Debbi, Olga.   I asked about Chubut, in yesterday’s questions.   It’s supposed to a lovely place to visit.   If you DO ever go?   It’d probably help if you speak Welsh: it’s a Welsh speaking community in the middle of an otherwise Spanish speaking country^!

^         I think the late Sir Terry Pratchett managed to satirise it, very well.   We English have a bad habit of assuming that anyone in foreign parts can understand us perfectly well: if we speak loudly and slowly in a language the locals don’t actually speak!   I’m as guilty as anyone as any one else in England, of not learning an extra tongue!
