9th February, 2018.
No, really …
I seriously want to go back to bed.
Frankly?
I am knackered: and blaming the trains for that.
Last night … ?
The 22:26 from Chelmsford was delayed by roughly five minutes.
Which had a knock on effect: I missed the 22:44 from Shenfield.
By about two minutes: wouldn’t you know it?
Which meant next train was — theoretically? — was the 22:59.
Which got altered at the very last minutes: as a driver went AWOL.
Which meant I ended up getting the 22 whatever it was …
And getting home by half eleven: getting to bed about half an later than usual.
Right now …
Well, needs must, and all …
But, BOY, that duvet looks comfy!

Have a nice day!
* Well … Apparently, it’s a six week wait, Olga: which is fair enough. Well have to see … ! (You know, Olga, I keep thinking a trip to Whitby would be an idea: the Abbey’s supposed to be something to see!)
† Rumour has it there’s a towel in the glove compartment as well, Debbi. Quite what any aliens will make of it, I don’t know … !

I definitely recommend it. The Abbey is on top of the cliff, and it's a bit of a way up from the town, though. Great fish and chips too!
(The first time I went to Haworth, I parked on a car-park by the steam railway station and later discovered the parsonage was up a steep hill. Now I've learned to leave the car half-way up... (although I don't mind walking, it's not always convenient if you're going with people with mobility problems).
I think it's pretty cool. Hope Elon included a copy of Adams' book! :) With a bit of Vogon poetry, maybe? Ha!
