Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 8th July, 2018

8th July, 2018.

OK, so obviously, the ol’ Morecambe and Wise gag worked …

They — just in case you didn’t know — were a popular double act: back in the 60s and 70s.

Sot of a precursor to the ever popular Ant and Dec.

If you’ve heard of them.

At ANY rate … ?

Eric — the taller of the two — would wiggle his glasses about.

Sad, eh … ?

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga* and Debbi† putting in their answers: with Debbi scoring five out of five, and Olga on four.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here’s a thought …
“Hookers have to deliver on their promise... unlike politicians.”
Marty Feldman, 8 July 1934 – 2 December 1982.
And a song …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Have a good day.

*        I forgot to take the book in, Olga!!   Possibly a good thing, as it goes, it was a bit … twitchy, yesterday!   I DID manage to read it in bed, though, so that’s OK.   LAMPS!   I’ll have to get some more, I think, mine are falling to pieces!   (Sorry about the Jeremy Kyle question: that’s my typing’s fault, I got the five and six the wrong way around … !)

†        Sounds like a bit of a juggling act, Debbi.   I’m still stinging from the whole Penny Dreadful debacle!   (I tried posting a clip from the show, including a link to the review it was part of.   And ended up with emails from lawyers … quite extensive ones … that told me it WASN’T fair dealing.)

Q1) The Wallabies of Australia
Q2) Rugby league
Q3) Turkey
Q4) Londonderry
Q5) The North Pole
I cut and paste from your questions as I'm well known for misplacing numbers (even in exams years back) but I didn't spot that possibility. Loved the sketch. I remember having watched a TV programme about how they met and started to work together. It was pretty good too.

Wow! I've had YouTube give my channel copyright strikes, but haven't gotten actual "cease and desist" letters. That's something.

1. Australia Wallabies
2. rugby
3. Turkey
4. Londonderry
5. the North Pole

BTW, ever have a chance to see this? :) https://randomandsundrythings.wordpress.com/2018/07/06/getting-to-maybe/

My (possibly lame) attempt at humo(u)r.
