15th April, 2020.
I think I’ve mention this once or twice, already: but I’m diabetic.
I have to be care what I eat, for the most part.
I’m getting heartily sick of red sweet potatoes, I know that!
But getting the hang of brown rice.
Especially with soy sauce.
At any rate … ?
I’ve just picked up my second batch of Metformin: the commonest drug used to treat the condition.
Along side the original batch … ?
I got a warning that it could cause diarrhoea.
Which was … fun …
But generally hasn’t been too bad.
I’ve mostly had had to put up with the farts, to be frank.
The two metre social distancing rules have been appreciated, there!
But, of course, that original batch ran out.
Which meant picking up a second batch, yesterday.
And … ? My pharmacist has switched manufacturers …
Which meant I got another case of the trots.
My bathroom door has never had that much exercise.

A few days ago, I found out that some one had attacked 5g phone masts.
In the mistaken belief that the things were responsible for the coronavirus.
Something I felt was wrongheaded, at least, and downright stupid at most.
Well …
There’s been more attacks: including one on the Birmingham Nightingale.
You have to ask, don’t you?
How idiotic ARE these people?

† The funny thing, Olga? Is the queue for Sainsbury’s wasn’t that bad, yesterday. And there was a distinct absence of Lamborghinis! (I have to admit, I don’t know much about Lewis Capaldi’s music: bar the fact Peter Capaldi pops up in one of Lewis’s videos.)
‡ Same here, Debbi. Mind you, I caught the first two episodes of The Faceless Ones, last night. There’s a couple pop Easter eggs, there! Check out the wanted posters, and the Waterfield Antiques ad.

You might have heard, but there is news about el Ministerio del Tiempo! It seems that they’ll show a prequel on the 20th of April, called ‘Antes de que no haya tiempo’ (Before there’s no time left). It seems that it’s a bridge between the 3rd and 4th series and they’ve taken advantage of the fact that it’s the centenary of the death of a famous Spanish author, Benito Pérez Galdós, to include him as a character.
The write-up says: “None of them could imagine that they would have to confront something they aren’t ready for: What happens when a temporal alarm fails, and it’s impossible to locate the place where they have to travel for a mission? Does it mean that the world as we know it could be in danger? The prequel focuses again on Salvador who, sitting by the phone at his desk, thinks about the people who will be on the other side when he calls for help. Desperate moments require desperate measures.”
You can watch the trailer as well, although it doesn’t give much away. But, there it is.
I’ve also read that the actual series will probably be shown in the summer, but we shall see.

Oh, and I hope you get used to the pills soon. (I rarely eat potatoes of any kind or bread, but I eat plenty of vegetables and fruit, and when the warm weather comes, Gazpacho and salads, but I’m also a fan of beans and lentils). Take care.
