Yes: it’s that time of the fortnight.
I’ve got an official meeting with the Job Centre.
By video: which is appreciated.
Especially as I’ve not got the fare to Basildon.
At ANY rate? It’s with my regular case worker: as she’s now back from leave.
Which is nice: I finally get to see what she looks like!
Let’s move on, shall we?
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga*, Mum†, Trevor‡ and Debbi^ putting in their answers: Olga, Trevor and Debbi scoring five out of five, and Mum on four.

And some music …
Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.
The quizmaster’s decisions about scores are final.
Thank you for coming: have a good day.
* Is it just me, Olga? Or was Yes Sir I Can Boogie, one hell of a tune? I can still remember seeing the pair on Top of the Pops. And, correct me if I’m worn, but didn’t they get a start as flamenco dancers? Performers have to be good multi-taskers. (Tommy Steele springs to mind: singer, dancer, actor, ya-da, ya-da, ya-da!)
† Hello, Mum!
‡ Have you thought about replacing the dead laptop with a large tablet, Trevor? They’re a lot larger than a phone, you can use your fingers, or a keyboard: and most will have onboard word processing software. (Google Play’s JUST thrown Office 365 at me: blow that!)
^ That’s very true, Debbi! And, to paraphrase yourself? There’s too many films, and not enough time!

I think you're right about Baccara, although it seems they met as dancers in Spanish TV (TVE) dancing in some of their light entertainment programmes. There were good tunes at the time, I must say, and it was impossible not to listen to them and get moving (and singing, no matter how badly, and the fact that at the time I didn't speak much English, but, hey...)
I hope the meeting goes well.

Well that is one hard drive put into a plastic box with an USB cable. Able to read it and can copy what I want to this old machine. New laptop on way from Amazon. Amazon have just informed me that DPD will be delivering the parcel. But no estimated delivery time.
Isn't that the truth! :)
