12th February. 2024.
It’s officially Monday.
The day I can officially use the word ‘official’, a lot!
At least, in videos!
Paul?
Stop burbling, you’ll start annoying people!
At any rate … it’s Monday.
Which, of course, means I’ll be heading for my weekly weight management class.
Hopefully, I’ll have lost some weight!
Let’s move on, shall we?
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga*, Mum† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with everyone scoring five out of five.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s pulsating questions, shall we?

Here’s a thought …
“What has happened is a hostile takeover of the Israeli government by dangerous elements. And it's just the beginning.”Ehud Barak, 12 February 1942.
And a song from Steve Hackett …
Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.
Decisions about scores are final.
Thank you for coming: have a good day.
* I don’t think ‘mouse’ is an acronym, Olga: at least, not according to the Wikipedia entry! But … ? It does say the plural is either ‘mice’ or ‘mouses’! Apparently, though, the cursor a mouse controls was originally called the CAT: although I can’t see if that’s an acronym.
Twenty cents? For an orange that retails for ten time as much? I figure someone’s making money: and it doesn’t sound like the farmer! There’s a cynical quote, somewhere!
† Hello, Mum!
‡ I do know that — according to the relevant Wikipedia entry — that the US introduced a ban on cherry bombs, Debbi: in 1966. I don’t know if Moon’s habit of using them to blow up hotel toilets was a factor! (In one interview … ? Townshend said “A lot of times when Keith was blowing up toilets, I was standing behind him with the matches.” I don’t think Led Zeppelin could compete …)

I read this in several places, but I guess it is not the real reason its creator gave it the name, so then it does not apply to the plural question.
MOUSE stands for Manually Operated User Selection Equipment or Mechanically operated user single engine and is a device which is attached to a computer system. It works as a pointer device for scrolling, dragging, dropping, selection and many more purposes.
Yes, definitely somebody is making money and it isn't the farmes, while the customers are the ones paying well above the odds and the money doesn't reach the ones who do the work.
