*        Hello, Mum§!

†        All this reminds me of an ex-girlfriend, Olga§, who was seriously dyslexic: and better educated than I am.   She was a qualified chef.   She’s probably do well with a smart-phone, as well: as they’re icon driven.   She was very good at a collectible card game called Magic: The Gathering, as well.   She’d struggle with the text: but once she’s got that read and understood, and memorised the artwork, she knew what she was doing.   If the literacy thing is the route you go, having a good set of icons will help: they’re easier to recognise¶.

        Well … I’ve had some interest in the thing, Olga: hopefully, it’s go quickly.   (Resetting it took at while: Ruth had a lot of apps I had to delete, because they kept interrupting the process.)

‡        Oh, BUNCHES, Debbi§!   Did you know the name ‘Brady’ is also not English … … 

§        I’ve got that George Harrison playlist on in the background.   My lord, he knew how to knock out a tune!   (I’m just listening to ‘When We Were Fab¹’.   “Back when income tax was all we had,” eh, George … ?)

¶        If memory serves, Olga?   In the recent Pakistani general election, the ballots had party icons to represent each candidate: Imran Khan’s candidates had a cricket bat icon, for example.   Apparently, the country has quite a severe illiteracy problem.
