21st July, 2025: the Temple of Artemis.
Right … it’s official.
I’m up early on a Monday morning, and off to my weight management group>
It’s been going reasonably well.
What I’m not looking forward to … ?
Is the trip, there.
It’s raining: heavily.
I hate getting wet!
Let’s move on.
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga*, Mum† and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with everyone scoring five out of five.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s temple-themed question set, shall we?
Q1) The Temple of Artemis was destroyed by fire on 21st July. 21st July of which year: 354BC, 356BC or 358BC?Q2) The Temple was in Ephesus. And music …
The next ten question set is on 25th July: it’s about Galicia.
Comments will be published, tomorrow morning.
Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.
Decisions about scores are final.
Thank you for coming: have a good day.
* Actually, Olga, the Wikipedia entry was the first place I looked. It gives the year, certainly, but not the 30th December date! It’s frustrating!
† Hello, Mum!
‡ I fell ill in a Barcelona hotel, Debbi: but they had an on-staff doctor. I was surprised: I didn’t expect the Spanish Inn Physician! I’m here all week … !
As we’re talking about words, Debbi …

The wikipedia entries vary greatly in different languages, and they are not exact translations (sometimes they are, but not others). There is also a Catalan version, Vikipedia, but it doesn't cover a lot of things (although it isn't bad for the items it covers).
I hope the weight management session has gone well and you didn't get too wet. Here some rain is expected later in the week, and a drop in temperatures we'll all be happy for. There have been several big fires, and that should help (as long as we don't get thunderstorms with a lot of lightning as well).
