The Daily Teaser — 2-5-2016

Did any one see the snooker, last night … ?

Anyone … ?

No … ?

I’ve got to admit to being something of an armchair fab of the sport.   I’ll watch it if I get the chance: and TEND to prioritise it, up against a lot of other things.

Especially if there’s a big final on.

Right at the moment?   The World Championship’s on: as I write, Mark Selby is ahead, over night, with a two frame lead against Ding Junhui.

I came home, last night, to catch the fifteenth frame.

Which, at sixty-six minutes?

Was one of the most nail biting hours worth of TV I think I’ve seen in a long time!

The fact that, this morning, the man who created BitCoin has outed himself pales into insignificance …

The Daily Teaser — 1-5-2016

There are times …

There ARE times … when Sunday morning’s lovely.

It’s nice and mellow.

On the OTHER hand … ?

There’s time when Sunday morning comes after Saturday night.

When I finished at half-past midnight.

Frankly … ?

I didn’t get much sleep … !

The Daily Teaser — 30-4-2016: All Jazzed Up …

Now that …

Was a long day …

I have to admit, I was working, yesterday.

From 12 noon, until 9 at night.

And I’m back again, tonight: from 5 until closing time.

I’m (sort of) thankful: as that means I’ve not lost too many hours after falling ill on Wednesday.

Still … ?

I’m thankful the medications helping!

All I need to do now … is remember to have a word about it, when I see my GP.

The Friday — 29-4-2016

Bleugh …

I think I can safely say a few things.

A cocoa would be good, right now.

As — possibly — would a shower.

Although that’s possibly debatable.

I’ll happily make do with a footpath and a cup of tea: and some Muddy Waters, in the background.

Lordy …

But you’d assume I’ve been at work all, all day, wouldn’t you … ?

Ahem … !

The Daily Teaser — 29-4-2016

Hmmm …

I’m off back to work, today.

And frankly … ?

Looking forward to it, despite the fact it’s a very long shift.

It’s ALSO kind of sad: as one co-worker’s leaving, today.

One who’d joined up at the same time I did.

Which is mildly mind boggling: as I’ve said, Kelly joined on the same day as me.

Seeing her go is both sad …

And a spur for me to keep my eyes open.

Either way … ?

I’ll be sorry to see her go: and hope her new job goes well for her.
