Hmmm …
I know Allison’s Not Happy …
Remember me mentioning, yesterday, that she’s tried to trace a postal order she’d sent to her bike’s insurance company that, seemingly, had gone astray?
Well, we’ve now ruled out the possibility that Rampdale had lost it; it looks like the Post Office has screwed up.
Possibly …
Allison was told over the phone, yesterday morning, that the one she was asking about, had been cashed by her insurance company.
Rampdale had managed to get two out of the three postal orders she’d sent, and cashed them.
The one for July was missing.
Now, as I’ve mentioned, she phoned the Post Office, yesterday, and was told — over the phone, let me stress — that the Postal Order she was asking about had been cashed.
But in the two subsequent phone calls, she’s been told that the Post Office don’t, and shouldn’t have, handed out that information, and that she should fill in a form, to get the relevant info.
Now the second call, she made to the post office — yesterday afternoon — the call centre agent told her that she’d phone Allison back, with the required info.
Diddly squat, so far.
So Allison phoned the Post Office again, this morning.
To be told, again, she could have the information needed over the phone and that she’d still have to fill a form in!
Which will take a long time.
Thankfully, Rampdale have given her more time, but as you can imagine, Allison’s NOT pleased with the Post Office.
I can’t say I blame her!
I’d be throwing the phone against the wall after 3 minutes of the first phone call!

Well that sounds about right with the post office.
I sent a parcel in the post that got lost and it never got found and i think the post office could not be bothered to find it and all they done was give me some 1st class stamps as compensation.
