The Daily Teaser — 11-8-2011

Well …

Thank God for that … !

It looks like the riots in various parts of the UK are starting to calm down.

Thankfully.

But I’ve got to admit, I’m …

Concerned …

You see, I can’t help but be a little sympathetic to both sides, in the trouble.

After all, who’d not be tempted by the opportunity by the chance of easily obtainable stuff.

ESPECIALLY when the background you’re from either encourages it, or gives you little alternative.

The things that have stunned me, though … ?

Well, the news that some of the courts have stayed open around the clock.

And this footage, that managed to both shock and dismay the nation.

There’s a phrase that’s been doing the rounds, for some years, that I’ve always found vaguely offensive: “Act the white man”.

Do people mean like that … ?

Lets get moving on, shall we … ?

BeforeI get really angry …

Hang on, let me grab a cuppa …

Oooooh …

That’s better … !

Right, lets move on, shall we … ?

* I’ve got to admit, Kaiju, it’s more the fact they claim to have the Ark of the Covenant that caught my attention: I think the church concerned is now in what’s Eritrea. Add the Falasha to that, and you’ve GOT to wonder, haven’t you … ?

º No problems there, Lyn, you got in, in time … ! :D

ª Trust me, Lyn, it’s ironic: Scotland’s been unscathed by what’s been going on south of the Wall.
