You know, there’s nights when I get bored.
I’ve the night off, no-one’s around, nothing’s on TV, and frankly … ?
Frankly I’ve no need — right at the moment — to get romping on writing Teasers: nor to knock out a batch of the accompanying slideshows.
What to do, one wonders … ?
Especially if one has no actual cash with which to head out.
Personally?
Personally, I like to catch a movie, if possible.
Or listen to music.
Or write …
Or …
Well, there’s plenty of stuff I do.
Tonight … ?
Tonight, wanting a film — and only having a few pounds in my iTunes account — I raided my collection.
Frankly … ? Frankly, I’m glad a copy of the 2006, Will Smith film, Hancock sitting around.
I’d’ve been rather bored, without.

Set in modern day Los Angeles, Hancock sees Will Smith as John Hancock: an superhero whose career is only interrupted by his alcoholism.
Alcoholism …
And the inevitable destruction wrought when he deals with bad guys, with a hangover.
Life takes an interesting turn, though, when he rescues Ray Embrey (Jason Bateman) — a struggling PR man — from an oncoming train.
Ray … ? Ray, despite some initial opposition from his wife, Mary (Charlize Theron) realises he’s onto a good thing: turning Hancock’s career around will bring his PR agency a much needed boost.
It’s only when a TV presenter announces a warrant’s been issued for Hancock’s arrest — for destruction of property, fighting various villains — Ray realises exactly how …

I do think Mr Smith and the rest of the cast and crew have produced a rock-solid — and entertaining — piece. One that asks nothing of us than we be entertained by it.
And have fun watching the comedy inherent in the situation.
On that grounds … ?
Hancock does very well, indeed.
