Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 16-2-2017

*Yawn* …

I think I can safely say I’m knackered.

Which will probably turn around … once I either get more sleep, or get more to eat …

The good thing … ?

The good thing is that today is a day off.

I’ll be able to get some Teaser videos done, and maybe todd a coin.

After all …

I’ve more episodes of Mr Robot to catch up with …

Oh, and a copy of The Cabinet of Dr Caligari.

I’ll probably end up tossing a coin …

~≈⬧≈~

But let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Debbi* putting in her answers: scoring five out of five in the process.

Let‘s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video …

Q1) Fidel Castro was sworn in: on 16th February, 1959.   As Cuban what: President, Prime Minister or Chief Justice?
Q2) Hezbollah was founded: on 16th February, 1985.   The group is based where: Lebanon, Israel or Syria?
Q3) The Kyoto Protocol came into force: on 16th February, 2005.   What is the Protocol trying to slow?
Q4) The US Army’s last MASH unit was decommissioned: on 16th February, 2006.   MASH stood for Mobile Army Surgical … what?
Q5) Finally … the US emergency phone number went into initial operation: on 16th February, 1968.   What IS that number?
Here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …

Q1) Ferdinand 3rd became Holy Roman Emperor on 15th February, 1637.   Where was he also king of: Bohemia, Aragon and Castile or Scotland?
A1) Bohemia.
Q2) 15th February, 1921 saw Romania open a legation in Helsinki.   What was Romania, at the time: a republic, a kingdom or an empire?
A2) A kingdom.
Q3) Violent industrial protests took place: on 15th February, 1986.   Outside the News International printing plant in Wapping.   Which press baron was/is the owner of News International?
Q4) ENIAC, the world’s first general purpose computer, was dedicated on 15th February, 1946.   Kay McNulty, Betty Jenning and Betty Snyder, were some of its first … what?
Q5) Finally … 15th February, 19472, saw British forces in Singapore surrender to whom: the Germans, Italians or Japanese?
A5) The Japanese.
I’ll leave you with this thought …
“Attention Is Energy. What you pay attention to you get more of.”
Stephen Gaskin, February 16, 1935 – July 1, 2014.
And this tune …

Have a good day …

*        Oh, don’t worry, Debbi, I don’t think any one could make it any worse!   :D   And I’ve quietly had one smug married woman tell me she wouldn’t say no to a card from me.    So there’s an upside, there … !   Blimey, didn’t know Humans had reached the US: Emily Berrington, as Niska?   Ist’ fantastic.   (If ever the Sapphire & Steel remake goes ahead, she’d be great as Steel.   No, Steel: gender hopping genre, sci-fi …)
