Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 15-8-2024 — Santa Muerte.

15th August, 2024: Santa Muerte.

It’s officially official: it’s Thursday.

Which, hopefully, means I’m Jude sitting, today.

And … ?

Rather pleased about a minor — very minor — hack I’ve discovered.

It turns out if you press the relevant button on the game controller for my Apple TV, you can record the screen.

Or, at least, record Sonic the Hedgehog 1.

But it could come in handy, somewhere*!

Let’s move on.

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Mum†, Olga‡ and Debbi§ putting in their answers: with Olga and Debbi scoring five out of five, and Mum on four.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video.

Q1)        15th August is the Feast of Santa Muerte.   Where: Argentina, Mexico or Brazil?

Here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …

Here’s a thought …
“… she is associated with healing, protection, and safe delivery to the afterlife by her devotees.”
From the Wikipedia entry on Santa Muerte.
A song …

And an earworm …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Decisions about scores are final.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

*        I’ve not tried: but know that — in theory — you could use the trick to record anything you rent from Apple’s TV.app, or its AppleTV˖ service.
Although I doubt it.   Copy protection and all that …

        Hello, Mum … !

I know how she feels, Olga.   I always look for convenient walls when I’m out and about: so I (sort of) know how she feels!   Have you checked to see if she has low blood pressure?   I have it, myself, and know it can cause dizziness and falls.

§        You never do, Debbi!   Hmmm … I don’t know if they’re on the lookout … but have you thought about seeing if Big Finish accept submissions?   Their enquiries email is at the bottom of the page …

Q3) a scythe

Q4) Mexico City

Q5) 2005
She has high blood pressure and is on three different medications for it. Although, no matter how many times I tell her to stand out slowly, she won't. Her falls don't seem to have anything to do with dizziness (as far as we know, as she is very vague when telling what happened if you weren't there to witness it, and even then, she might come up with a completely different story. She tripped while we were out for a walk a few days ago, and when the doctor asked her she told her she had fallen at home standing up from a chair.)
