The Daily Teaser — 17-11-2012

Oh, DRAT: it’s ANOTHER earworm … !

Just so you know … ?   Just so you know, an earworm is one of those songs that — for whatever reason — is playing itself in your head.

Or, at least, bits of it are.

Right now … ?

Actually, right now, and LORD knows why, I’ve got Kate Bush’s The Dreaming floating around my skull.

Although possibly you can see why …

And I was going to show you this clip from last night’s Children in Need appeal …

Ahem!

Let’s get moving on, shall we … ?

~~~~~~~~
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Debbi putting in her answers: along with telling me she felt I’ve got a good novel in meº, she ALSO told me she’s posting some of the draft on her Random & Sundry Things blog, AND bagged 5 out of 6*.
Let’s see how she — and you — do with today’s questions, shall we?
Enjoy those, everyone.
As today she’s the birthday of Girls Aloud member, Sarah Harding, I’ll leave you with the video of their first song.
And with this quote from Auberon Waugh …
“Politics, as I never tire of saying, is for social and emotional misfits, handicapped folk, those with a grudge. The purpose of politics is to help them overcome these feelings of inferiority and compensate for their personal inadequacies in the pursuit of power.”
Auberon Waugh 17 November 1939 – 16 January 2001
Oh …
I should ALSO warn you: earworms occasionally turn into The Days Of Pearly Spencer.   The HORROR … !
*        I have to admit, Debbi, I was half tempted to let you have that.   The trouble is, Wikipedia say the first one was ’95: but the official site say that’s when it was passe by the UN’s General Assembly, with the first Tolerance Day being one year later.   What CAN I tell you … ?
º        Oh, I wish, Debbiª!   But I don’t have the long term concentration or patience.   I’ll leave it to the experts.   (I happen to know a rather good writer who leaves me comments … :D )
ª        Actually, Debbi, COMPLETELY off thread: have a look at that second opening video: the one from Children In Need.   Oh … You MIGHT just want to watch this, too …
