The Daily Teaser — 18-11-2012

Hmmm …

There’s a thing.

Seemingly, Parliament is to debate the various options for prisoner voting that European law insist they go through.

This being a Tory led government … ?   This being a Tory government, you can imagine the amount of complaints — including from the PM, himself — about it.

Daft, really: I think most of the people I’ve met, who’ve done time, are — how to put this — natural conservatives.   They’d be losing themselves a lot of votes.

Thank HEAVENS prisoners don’t!

Let’s move on, shall we … ?

~~~~~~
Yesterday’s saw both Debbi* and Mr Strict putting in their answers.   With Mr S bagging 5 out 6, and Debbi bagging 6, it ALSO saw Debbi posting her thanks to me, for putting up a certain trailer, yesterday.
As today marks the birthday of the late jazzman, Don Cherry, I’ll leave you with this piece from him.
And with this quote from astronaut, Alan Shepard …
“I realized up there that our planet is not infinite. It's fragile. That may not be obvious to a lot of folks, and it’s tough that people are fighting each other here on Earth instead of trying to get together and live on this planet. We look pretty vulnerable in the darkness of space.”
Alan Shepard, astronaut, November 18, 1923 – July 21, 1998.
*        Is it just me, Debbi, or have they change Madame Vastra’sª make-up … ?   I’m sure she looks different, somehow …
ª        The actress, Debbi , is called Neve McIntosh.   What’s a boy to say … ? :D
You might be right. It did look slightly different, though I couldn't put my finger on exactly what changed.
I'm so looking forward to more Doctor Who! :)
I started watching Doctor Who when Tom Baker was The Doctor. Then, I'd watch Red Dwarf, every Saturday night on Maryland Public TV. That was back in 1995 or so.
