Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 23rd January, 2020.

23rd January, 2020.

OK … I was expecting the electrician out, yesterday.

And was told — when I phoned the office — he’d be with me, today: between eight and five.

Five o’clock would’ve been the point where I’d complain.

Except, of course, the man’s right here: fiddly around with a thermostat and a screwdriver.

One of these …

Screwdriver

Rather than one of these …

Screwdriver

Hopefully … ?

He’ll be quick: where the later’s involved or not^ …

~≈¥≈~

On a sad note … ?

Yesterday saw the announcement of the death of Monty Python star, Terry Jones.

The man who directed Monty Python’s Holy Grail … ?

Gave the world much: and will be much missed.

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga* and Debbi† putting in their answers: with Olga scoring five out of five, and Debbi on four.

The day also saw Trevor‡ leaving us some Albanian flute music.

“I hate guns, I think they’re the worst thing ever invented.”
Rutger Hauer, 23 January 1944 – 19 July 2019.
And a song …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Have a good day.

*        I’ll have to keep my eye open for that one, Olga^: it can’t be as bad as Welcome to Essex!   Filmed in Brentwood … !   I’m under-cooking it, maybe: the basics were there … it just needed more work.   Now you mention tea … ?   I watched the US version of House of Cards, a while back: they were all on various shades of tea … except the ones who weren’t … !

†        That it is, Debbi^: Trevor DOES find some interesting stuff, sometime … Oh, did you hear about Terry Jones?   He’s another one gone to a form of dementia.

‡        I think I prefer the indie band, Trevor … … … … … …

^        It’s 9:08: the electrician’s done!

Sad news about Terry Jones. Here most of the news yesterday was of the disasters caused by the storm. Killed 9 people (at least, 5 missing) and caused major damages. Good about the electrician. Hopefully everything will get finally sorted!
