It’s officially the case … that I’ve had a very long day.
Yep: the eased Lockdown means I’ve been able to look after my nephew, Jude.
Although, frankly?
I was up at five to do so.
A Teaser doesn’t write itself, after all.

At any rate … ?
I’ve actually had an evening meal that consisted of … well … toast … to be brutally honest.
A lunchtime pizza with my nephew?
Tend to be a little on the large side … and, frankly? Left me thinking that watching a short TV show could be just the thing.
Yes: you’ve got it right.
I’ve seen another episode of The Mandalorian’s, first series.

Chapter 4 — Sanctuary — opens by showing us a farm on the planet Sorgan: being attacked by Klatooinian raiders.
Surviving, but only by hiding.
In a shift of scenes? We see the Mandalorian arrive on Sorgan: as he believes it to be safe from the bounty hunters … only to meet former soldier, Cara Dune (Gina Carano): who he’s immediately suspicious of.
He’s also visited by two villagers: from the hamlet attacked at the start of the episode.
They need him, and as many former soldiers as he can get … to protect them from the next expected raid.
The proposition’s not initially something that grabs the Mandalorian’s interest.
Until he realises quite how good a hiding place the village could be.
He’s got a child to protect.

Now …
Good, bad or ugly … ?
What did I make of Sanctuary?
I loved it!
Granted, it’s an episodes whose roots in The Seven Samurai and The Magnificent Seven are written all over it.
But then?
Doe that mean the episode’s a cheap knock-off?
Nope.
It means it’s taken an old story, covered it in SF lacquer, polished it …
And given us something new as a result.
Sanctuary.
Good?
Oh, yes!
