Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 11-9-2023 — QI

11th September, 2023: QI.

Right … It’s early on a Monday morning.

Frankly?

I’ve got my weight management meeting, today.

Hopefully?

I’ll’ve lost seem weight.

I was up last week!

~≈¥≈~

I have to admit, I made an effort, last night: to try and watch a movie.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, in case you’re interested.

I have to admit, I gave up on it: between the heat, the painkillers, and the length of the thing, I really wasn’t in the mood … !

~≈¥≈~

At any rate … ?

When I get back, I’m going to either have to make a phone call — or go online — to do some work.

Putting in appeals against a DWP decision takes a lot of work!

Let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga*, Debbi† and Mum‡ putting in their answers: with Olga and Debbi scoring five out of five, and Mum on four.

The day also saw Trevor§ leaving us a message.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video.

Here’s a thought …

“Peter Cushing lives in Whitstable.   I have seen him on his bicycle.   I have seen him buying vegetables.   Peter Cushing lives in Whitstable.”
Alan Davies, on one famous episode of QI.
And a song …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Decisions about scores are final.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

*        Yes, I should be able to ring, Olga: or, at least, have a look at the website.   Hopefully, I can get through by phone: these things do take a while.
It sounds like the Spanish system’s as much of of a mess as the UK’s!   Although ‘mess’ is possibly the wrong term: possibly the phrase we want is ‘budget focused’.   I can understand governments turning people in my shoes down: they do have a budget to balance, after all.   But that turns a request for help into a battle that’s damaging to mental health.

I don’t know that is was, Debbi.   Mind you, I’ve usually got the answers in front of me.   Not that you’d know it, sometimes!
Now … would taking stuntwoman training help?   Just in case?
Oh, and there’s a possibility Nina will be visiting Brentwood!
